Dr. Martens Women's Nartilla

TLDR: Exactly as pictured, lace up design is adjustable to your comfort. Comfortable footbed, cool style. A little bulky so you may need to adjust to the platform. What I liked: Love the platform, lace up design and comfortable footbed. Looks great and adds a little edginess to outfits. I also like that the brown is similar to my tan skin. What could be better: The platform takes some getting used to. Walking might feel awkward at first. Fit/size: I’m usually 6-6.5 in sandals. I ordered size 6 and it fits well. Durability/maintenance: Seems durable, nubuck leather and thick sole. Not a bad idea to use a waterproof spray to protect from water and stains. I use Collonil Carbon Pro Shoe Protector Spray Waterproof Spray on my suede/nubuck items and it never changes the color. Only spray outdoors, dries fast. Would I recommend: This is best for someone who wants to add a little edginess to their outfits. Kind of a statement shoe. Great alternative if the all black version is “too aggressive.” About my photo/video: Shows item in natural daylight with mod shots.

Wife's comment: I am normally US9 and Eur 40.5-41; Always wear w9 in dr martens 2976, 1461 and voss sandals. I had so much (painful learning) experiences with Dr. Martens during years, close-toed Dr. w8 scraped my heel to bleeding regardless styles. For open-toed, w8 just pushes my toes to edge. For Nartilla, I also tried both w8 and w9. My big toe easily touches the edge and worse still my pinkies are squeezed uncomfortably. The straps and surface area although feel tighter, skin abrasion is also expecting to come. While in w9, I feel the perfect wiggly room for my feet to walk comfortably and feel confident it will only get better broken-in with no bloodshedding. The heel straps might feel loose but you just need to tie laces thru the labels and tightly to make it stay put. With right sizing, Dr martens is just so chic with comfort and durability.

These Nartilla sandals are my latest Dr. Martens pick—and I love them just as much as my black and white pairs. The olive-green works like a neutral and goes with everything—dresses, jeans, shorts, you name it. True to size, super comfy, and classic Dr. Martens quality. A great buy, every time.

These sandals are so cute. I’m so excited! They are comfortable but they do run a little big. Reviews seemed mixed between the shoe either being too big or fit as expected. My left foot is a half size bigger than my right (size 9.5 left, size 9 right). I went with a size 9. The sandal fits perfect on my left foot. It’s slightly big on my right foot, but not to the point that it’s uncomfortable. You can see in the picture, there is a gap between my heel and the back strap. I’m honestly okay with this and figured I can put a bandage or something on my heel if I’m worried it’ll blister. Maybe size down if you are in between sizes?

So here’s the thing, I feel like it’s a given with anything Doc Marten that there is a breaking in period, but these will definitely take some getting used to. I got these after eyeballing them for soooo long and finally bit the bullet. I have list of pros and cons for anyone looking into buying these. Pros: they’re cute af. I love the appearance of these and how they can sort of grunge up any outfit I wear. It’s perfect with jeans or shorts or dresses. It’s a super versatile shoe and you can wear them a couple different ways based on how they’re wrapped. The sole is super comfy and it’s very well made. The quality is amazing. So if you’re looking for something durable, this is it. Cons: the back of the shoe isn’t adjustable so it easily causes blisters. For long periods of wear, the straps get really uncomfortable and for anyone worried about tan lines, they absolutely will cause tan lines if worn for hours at a time. Generally they’re not something I’d wear for a long period of time until they’re broken in and even after that, the comfortably is a problem with this shoe. If you’re willing to live by the phrase “beauty is pain.” For a while, I’d definitely get these shoes. I love them even though they’re not super comfy right now as I’m still breaking them in. But goodness is the look so worth it.

I kept reading that everyone sized down if they were half sizes, and though I'm not a half size I worried the back strap would be too loose since I have narrow feet. I went with caution and ordered them in a size 6 (my usual size) and a size 5 (sized down recommendation). The size 6 for me great, and the 5s fit as well but were visablly too small and my feet hit the edge of the insole, I am returning the 5s. I've bought and returned 6 pairs of sandals for this summer until I found these and figured I'd give them a shot. They're more expensive than id initially wanted to pay for sandals, but knowing these are from a quality brand and that I'll very likely get more than a few summers out of them is a huge plus when considering the price. They're pretty comfortable at the initial wear, but I can tell they'll get even better as they continue to break in. Finally found a sandal im happy with!

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them! I wanted a quality sandal for her and Doc Martin is always my go to for good shoes! She always gets compliments on them! They are well made, stylish, the fit is perfect, the tie is adjustable and they are a must have to compliment and complete a summer wardrobe. She wears them with shorts and dresses! It’s the sandal you need for summer.

These are a really great choice if you have wide feet. I usually wear 8 wide. I just got my regular size and the length fits really well. The back strap is kinda loose but I dont feel like they will fall off. Tbh.. its a nice change... people with wide feet know.. everything is always too tight. I gave it 4 stars because one sandle didnt have the tag sewn on.

Absolutely love them! Can’t wait for a warmer weather to wear them! Very comfortable. Very light compared with rest of my docs. Only straps are bit rough but sure those wouldn’t be doc martens if I wouldn’t end up with few blisters lol
