Debut is considered the debut studio album by Icelandic recording artist Björk as an international singer, originally released in July 1993 by One Little Indian and Elektra Entertainment. It was produced by Björk and Nellee Hooper. It was Björk's first recording following the dissolution of her previous band, the Sugarcubes. The album departed from the rock style of her previous work and drew from an eclectic variety of styles, including electronic pop, house music, jazz and trip hop.

I love Bjork and this is my favorite album from her. The tape sounds great!

Wonderful, quirky music
Björk has a unique style of haunting lyrics and sounds. This album is a poetic interpretation of her style of music. Her vocals are rich.

I got this cd on November 12 right on time. I could've waited as late as Nov. 30. Glad I got this cd sooner than later. Love her voice.

Spirited little album. Make sure to get the version with "Play Dead" - it really completes the CD.
