Ninth full length studio album from the Swedish power metal band, described as a concept album covering stories from the First World War. Bassist Pär Sundström commented, 'This is the biggest album we have taken on so far; there is so much depth and story around the songs that we never had before'.

Awesome - My favourite CD of the past 25 years
Hallelujah - Heavy metal is alive and flourishing in Sweden. This is the perfect antidote to the drivel we are usually presented with on radio, TV and cinema. Sabaton's enlivening of history both feeds your mind and makes you think beyond today's bureaucratic, facile, materialistic world. And you'll sing your heart out too!

Another atmospheric short metallic opera from the band.
The music and singing are very good as usual and the album charges along at a good lick. The playing is very atmospheric, but the way the singer enunciates, it is quite difficult sometimes to make out exactly what he is singing. However, this doesn’t detract from the feeling and enjoyment of the record. When all else fails, read the lyrics!Again, a great record, but far too short.Playing time doesn’t quite reach 38 ½ mins.
