Works great! Great value!
This capper worked great. Seems to be built well. Sturdy, metal construction. The key to using this is to make sure you use inward pressure on the handles increase of downward pressure. If you just push straight down it puts a lot of pressure on the bottle. If you press inward, all of the force goes to the cap. It capped screw off bottles as well (they just won't unscrew when opening). There was some mild difficult getting a few bottles free after capping, but nothing a little wiggling didn't fix. It won't work on wider necked bottles like Stella Artois or Modelo because of the low clearance neck grips. Perfectly fit Budweiser and Guinness bottles.

It works super well; just literally "feel" when you don't have to press down anymore or risk issues!
I make replica bottles from video games like Fallout and Call of Duty and I've been having issues with my old bottle crimper not crimping my Perk A Cola bottles (cleaned off Corona Bottles) and this capper fixed all my issues. It has a shorter neck to grab onto so I can press it allllll the way down and it will seal the bottle way better than my plastic one did. For the longer necks like my Coca Cola bottles, there is a "feel" to when you have crimped it all the way down. And yes, this capper definitely will latch on sometimes and be a hassle to let go of. But it did release and it did give me a tight crimp on the bottlecaps themselves. When you get this, definitely do a test for the "feel" of when it is sealed; it definitely will have a look to it so you don't over crimp on the average brown bottles cause that neck and you pressing down all the way will probably have a high chance of breaking. This was a very niche use compared to others but this saved a product line I sell from being discontinued and fearing that thr capper wouldn't fit but it did!

Works perfectly!
This capper works great for your standard, everyday bottles you'd normally find from drinking beer. Metal construction definitely seems more solid than cappers made from hard plastic, so it's worth the extra cost. I used this to cap recycled (clean) New Belgium beer bottles I had laying around. Only problem I had was breaking a bottle after filling because I used too much force, but that was user error and I was getting used to how much force it actually took to cap a bottle. One broken bottle out of 21 doesn't seem too bad for my first time using it. Overall, it's a great capper and bonus points for this one from Brooklyn Brew Shop coming with caps already. It's the same "Made in Italy" capper you can buy on Amazon for the same price basically, plus caps.

Very Rugged Materials and Construction, but a couple of minor flaws
I have only capped a few dozen bottles so far and found the capper well made and sturdy. The it seems to seal better than my plastic model, but takes considerably more pressure on the handles to crimp the caps. A bit scary. I do object to its habit of sticking to the capped bottles after the crimp. It takes considerable force on many bottles to pull it from the top. So far only one bottle has broken when removing the capper. My other objection is the roughness of the plastic handle guards, they do tend to tear up the palms of the hands after a while. I guess gloves would help, but they make things a bit clumsy when picking up the caps. I'm hoping the sticking problem will ease with increase use. I've tried a little light grease but it doesn't seem to help much.

Solid
Good solid capper don’t feel like I’m going to break it like the crappy plastic ones, needs a little lubricant on the joints and in the cap head to keep from sticking once sealed,

This worked perfect. Every bottle was capped with no problems
This worked perfect. Every bottle was capped with no problems. I had heard that some of the cappers actually cause the bottles to crack if not applied properly. This one was very easy and not a problem at all.

defective ,could not use it.
I bought this item because I am a regular home brewer and I have a plastic "Red Baron" wing style capper. I wanted to upgrade to this metal constructed one and i was excited to use it but when I placed a cap in the capper cup, it fell out , the center piece is NOT magnetic as my plastic one is. If this is supposed to be magnetic I'd like a replacement /exchange . If not Id like to simply return for a refund.

Nice
Cheap price. Durable all metal construction. Works on short and long necks. Comes with quality caps. It does leave a ring in the center of caps installed on long necks, but barely noticeable when used on short neck bottles. I got the correct U.S. size with 1 click ordering. So far only used to cap 50 bottles. I will edit if it breaks. If you are concerned that all plastic units may break, or shatter the necks on your bottles, then this is a good alternative. I have had no issues. Works well.

Can be sticky
A good buy for a bottle capper, however it can be a little sticky when trying to release the bottle after it has capped it.Overall decent price for this version.
