Carboy #16 Tapered Corks (most 5 Gallon Carboys)

I bought these to get rid of the plastic plugs I was using. I know they say for use with 5 gallon carboys, but it also works with the 3 gallon version. I haven’t had them long, but so far they are holding up. I’ll update if things change.

Expensive, but works well to seal the jugs I bought them for.

'Nuff said. It certainly corks as well as any cork could hope to cork.

It’s fine, but realize that despite the listing stating “corks,” plural, it is one cork.

Works as expected on 5 gallon glass jar

Very pricey for just a tiny piece of cork. But the alternative was using plastic to top off a 3-gal glass carboy full of emergency water. The cork boils stably to sterilize and fits well in a standard crown-top glass carboy, though.

I needed this to plug the bunghole in my carboy and it suited that purpose well.

I have a thick glass wine making bottle I use for a piggy bank. This cork does the trick.....very happy with it.
