This is your go to edition for any kind of chopin

Great Edition
The Chopin National Edition volumes are the best available - legible, sensible, and accurate, or at least as accurate as is possible when dealing with a composer who left as many variants (many intentional, some probably unintentional) as Chopin. The Preludes don't suffer from deficient earlier editions as much some other Chopin works such as the B-flat Minor Sonata, but this edition is still very welcome.

Missing the performance & source notes
As usual, the edition and the binding is first-rate—5 stars for that aspect. But, part of the reason I’ve been purchasing the Ekier edition is for the valuable notes comparing various early editions by Chopin and his students. These notes were not included with this copy of the Preludes, reducing its value to me.

Markings and notation are reliable and is a great product to help on your journey of 24 preludes. But the product had it's end of spine damaged. But that wouldnt bother you if you'd just worry about the content of the book not the exterior and the durability of the book.
