The best possible solution for a phone mount
The media could not be loaded. I've been looking for a good car phone mount since I first owned a smartphone (Google HTC G1) and NOTHING holds a candle to this package. I would highly advise against using a system that uses magnets. Although they are sleek and convenient, you will have to remove the metal plate from your case before induction charging every single time. That is why I went looking for another solution and found this. The video rambles but here's my summary.Pros:+Both vent AND suction mounts (and they both ROCK. Solid and sturdy)+Powerful wireless charging (Bad induction pads will often prompt your phone to complain)+Sleek Jedi clamps (Wave you hands, it opens)Cons:-No Jedi wave to unmount, need to hit a button or slide it out. Not a big deal.

Neat idea, but has issues
Pros:Charges while in the holderOne handed phone insert/releaseHolds phone securelyCool FactorCons:Requires power to insert phone into holder - start car firstRequires power to remove from holder - Remove phone prior to turning off carThe "suction" portion of the mount relies on some thick sticky substance that does not do well in the heat. Mine stopped working after 2-3 months in the Texas heat. My bad for not thinking to check warranty information in time. The suction engagement function is not sufficient and requires the sticky substance to do most of the work. The holder is heavy due to the mechanics that clasps and releases the phone, thereby reducing the life of the holderI really like the idea. If the suction portion could be improved, I would buy another one. Just have to remember to release and insert while the car is running or under accessory power.

May not be Compatible with Samsung s10 [Update]
The media could not be loaded. So I bought this for my Samsung s10 plus. I looked on the reviews and asked if this would work with my phone. Everyone said yes. So I bought it. On the second time using it after mounting it on my car, the sensor and release button broke. Since the sensor doesn't work the sides do not expand and clamp onto my phone anymore. Since the sensor doesn't work the release button doesn't work either. I contacted the seller and they did send me another one. But guess what? Right after I switched it the same issue occurred. So I just ended returning it.Pros: good steady mount.Customer serviceCharges decentCon: Sensor/ release doesn't workGets really hot, even if I use the vent adapterVent clamp weak and now doesn't close all the way[UPDATE 6/14/20019]So, the seller had contacted me afterwards and sent me one more product. They assured me that the product that they were sending would work. Well, I only used it once so far, and so far the lock and release mechanism seems to be working. I will have to keep using it to know for sure, the previous products both stopped working within couple of days. I went from 1 star to 3, because of the great customer service. However, even the new product wasn't working to what I expected. 90% of the time when I put my phone on the charger, it will continuously pause my charger and then restart the charging every other second. It was frustrating to see that my phone was not charging continually throughout the drive. In conclusion, the new product so far seems to be working, but not just working to my expectation.Customer Service is great! Maybe you'll get some better products than the ones that I received. I am going to keep of using the charger and see if I can end up loving it.

Pretty good
I was hoping to move this between my car and truck, but have decided to leave it in my truck. It's a cool charger, but there are some definite cons. The suction power - on the dash - is weak. I have a large phone and have had to "rig" it where the phone bottom rests on the dash, otherwise, the angle pulls the suction off the dashboard. It also charges quite slowly. Pros: It's easy to put your phone in and out of it - but you have to remember to remove it before turning off the key. In my current setup as noted above, it hold my phone safely and charges it where I can see for directions. It's a little on the pricey side, but I will keep it.

Game Changer
This is a truly a game changer for me. It comes with two holders so you get a choice whether you want to click it in the vent or put your own pedestal. There is a small sensor button which opens up automatically and clamp the phone in place.Very happy after a week of use.

Great with iPhone 11!
There is not a suction cup for the windshield and an air vent mount for whichever you choose. I had it on my air vent at first but I prefer the air to blow at me and not my phone lol so I put it on the windshield and it works great!ONLY thing is that the suction cup has what seems to be pretty decent adhesive on it. So I’m unsure of what the process will be when removing it, but it doesn’t matter to me now because I like it and I’m going to leave it mounted!I wasn’t aware of the automatic grip on it but it has it and it’s great! Works great so far!IPHONE 11 IN USE WITH PRODUCT - WORKS GREAT!

Good. Be careful how you mount.
I loved it, until it fell. The sensor open on the clamp is so cool. It’s very versatile in positioning. Mine stayed mounted for a few months then fell off. I’d purchase another and mount it differently, but I’ll just find a 3rd party adhesive. Make sure you mount in a low gravity position.

Wireless charging overheats my phone
I always forget to grab my phone before turning off my car and have to turn it back on since it is automatic. The wireless charging works until it starts overheating my phone. I've started unplugging the mount after placing my phone in it, plugging the charger directly into my phone, and then plugging it back into the device to take my phone out once I reachmy destination- this typically happens when it is hot outside. It's annoying, but it works. It keeps my phone in place and I like how moveable the arm is.
