Pen Turning: A Foundation Course

Haven't had a chance to do any turning but the book has good information and details of turning pens. I think it's a good starting point book.

Very good reference, read through it twice, lots of underlining, highlighting and tabs. Highly recommend for the beginner or advanced pen turner.

Beautifully illustrated.Instructions are easy to understand and cover all issues relating to safety and efficiency.Glad I bought this book, someone never making a pen can follow this book and successfully complete a pen.Lots of good ideas to customize pens and pencils using simple inexpensive materials you may already have.Lots of good information and I enjoyed reading and using this book!

Detailed discriptions and pictures on pen turning

Really good for beginners

The book reads like a transcript of their first pen making book. Will prob. return it. Get the DVD instead.

I liked the detail it shows, what can be be achieved and where to purchase material, with plenty of illustrations and photographs.

Very informative book would highly recommend.
