Using Quickbooks Pro 2011 for Accounting (with CD-ROM) (DECA)

This is a great text for learning QB. It uses a narrative to teach you to do things, and then also walks you through the steps in QB on your computer so you can try things out. It also comes with a trial QuickBooks cd to use. I'm using this with an online class at my local college.

This is a great book, showing step-by-step how to record things in QuickBooks. I use this book in my teaching for non-credit adult classes. QuickBooks is a very popular accounting software program. Many small business owners and bookkeepers need to understand this program, so they don't make so many mistakes.

This book was sold with the understanding that it came with the C-ROM for the class. Unfortunately, the CD, while loadable was not usable since the registration for the product was not released, and I am now finding that to finish the class, I need to purchase another full version of the program.VERY disappointed.

It is well explain, but doing the exercises without the answers or solutions to problems doesn't tell me if I got it or not. Pretty useless without the solutions.

This is true to life, just like taking a classroom course. I would recommend this to anyone and the best part is if I want to purchase the product I can, it is already installed on my computer!

I just got this book yesterday, and my classes wil beging next week, I hope I can handle this small business accounting software.

One of the CDs is for a 140-day software demo; once it is used, it is useless. If you already have Quickbooks software and just need the book, used is good. But if you need the software demo, buy new.

The book is very helpful especially if you are new to Quickbooks. All the information you needed is there and I met great people in that class.
