Although the book is short, the author is hitting on all cylinders the entire time. She doesn't just describe why the disease is happening, she also provides steps, while difficult, on how to rid us from it. I'd recommend this to all newly divorced dad's of young daughters.

Valid issue that I'm sure a lot of step parents don't realize
Short and sweet, but covers most of the issues. Read the original book first. I wish there were more books out there on this subject. And I wish I found these books sooner! I'm already 7 years into this b.s.

100% truth! I'm dating a man with a daughter and I felt like they were dating, not me. I felt left out. I said little things, like ..every time you hug and kiss me, she asks for the same. Can I just get one. He was clueless and I looked jealous and mean. I said nothing but suffered as I saw all these things you mentioned and wondering why he doesnt see anything wrong. I should run away and debated it. I love how you wrote it for men and step moms. I bought both and shared it and a light went off in his head and mine. We will both apply these suggestions so I can eventually be the only wife. Preach! ❤

It hit the salient points, but it was short, and therefore, it should’ve been a little cheaper.

Katie is right on this. Mini-wife syndrome is detrimental to both dad and daughter. Guilty dads let their emotional needs get in the way of raising happy healthy daughters and having a fulfilling marriage.
