West Music 27" Hemmed Square Movement Scarves Set

Used these for pin up retro looks. Absolutely love it especially for the price and all the colors. If your intention is to purchase this for your hair , don't wait !! Do it :) definitely worth it .

I have purchased numerous sets of these West Music scarves for my classroom. Sometimes I've purchased from West Music directly, and sometimes via Amazon in order to save on shipping. They have always been the same, great product. UNTIL this most recent purchase. They took two weeks to arrive - directly from China - were packaged differently, and were actually a completely different product. Cheap, thin fabric that was already fraying right out of the bag. I'll just order from West Music directly in the future and pay more for shipping.

These are a great value, but not quite what I expected. I thought the material would be softer, but it's a little coarse. I ordered some other movement scarves that are made of silk and I like them better, because they're soft and float longer than these do. Obviously the price is more since the other scarves are made of silk. I think these are fine for dancing with, but they're not so great for wearing as a cape or something, because they are a little coarse. My first child has some sensitivity issues regarding fabric so I'm extra critical when it comes to fabric that my child is wearing. If your child isn't bothered by tags in their shirt then this fabric probably wont bother them either. To get the best value I plan on buying the silk ones in the larger size for wearing and these for playing/dancing with since both are available in various sizes.

I loved these immediately when I opened the package. The scarves are beautiful and bright the picture does not do them justice. 27" x 27" is quite large. They are way better than any of the scarves I have used with my children at music classes and/or library story times. I almost went with a larger play scarf that was 36"x36" I am very glad I didn't those would have been too large.If you are interested in this product for children to dance, toss, and play with these will be perfect!

I'm a music therapist and have taught kindermusik in the past. I've had worse scarves and better scarves. (I love the old kindermusik scarves. Now they have a logo on them and they're a little different, but still better than these). These are very sheer and a little stiff. And the purple/brown color? What color is that? Even my own kids and husband aren't sure! I don't think I can use that one with my kiddos that work on colors b/c I'm not sure what color it is!All in all, if you're a therapist and need extra scarves for a lower price, these were the best I could find for the price, and without buying a whole book and CD kit with them. Hopefully they'll hold up in the washing machine, and maybe will soften a little. They'll work, but they're not awesome.

These are perfect! I use these as headscarves. I wear my hair in retro styles and I now have every color to where with any outfit. They are very easy to work with even given the fabric. I also have the 24 inch and they are a little but more difficult for me. I do have a slightly larger head than most though so these are my definite go to scarf. The price is right and the quality is there. I would definitely purchase again.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money for the silk scarves I found advertised. I planned these for my 3 yr old daughter to play with during our music together at-home times alone or with her friends - these scarves arrived fairly quickly (less than 2 weeks shipped from China). The hems aren't perfect and I think some will unravel/snag but for the price and the beautiful vibrant colors I'm quite pleased! They are soft and don't have any tags (I read other reviews that say they do) and float & wave nicely in the air. I'm hesitant to wash them as I'm not sure how they'll hold up - probably just a quick hand wash if needed - no big deal.

As an alternative to play silks, these are a nice size, the colors are as shown, and I expect them to hold up very well since they are nylon. Some reviews say they are stiff; sure, they are not like silk, but after one time through the washing machine, they were not stiff at all. Some reviews mention a tag on each scarf, but the tags came right off with a gentle tug.I think the price is reasonable at less than two dollars per scarf. I only wish I could have bought half as many for half the cost, since I don't really need a dozen.
