Clubman Moustache Wax with Brush Comb - Neutral 14g

Outstanding Product!

I just needed a basic mustache wax to keep the hairs out of my mouth. Not even going for anything fancy. But I tried brand after brand after brand—all the most-recommended ones—and nothing worked at all. They didn't hold my hairs in place for even a second. I don't know if I just have extra stubborn mustache hairs or what, but it's been pretty frustrating.This one is different. With Clubman Moustache Wax, I have FINALLY found one that actually works and holds my hairs in place. (You'd think that would be a prerequisite for selling mustache wax, no?) But this stuff does it, and the tube + brush applicator makes it way easier to use than the others too. And it's cheaper to boot!Only downside is that I do wish it was completely scentless, but at least it isn't bad a bad smell. Just a mild citrus scent.

I have worn facial hare for over 50 years, but only recently started using moustache wax. I did not know anything about how to use it or what to try. Clubman was the first one I tried. The bottom line is that this is easy to apply, has a very nice light scent that fades relatively quickly (I usually HATE all scents), and has excellent hold when dry. And it does not feel waxy or sticky. The big negative is that it is water soluble, so it tends to go away easily when eating, drinking, or just in high humidity.My beard is very course, thick and curly. Trying to get any shape to the hairs, or just keep the moustache hairs out of my mouth is VERY hard, as a result, for the last 50 years I have resorted to just carefully trimming all the hairs along my lip line and keeping them fairly short to they stay away from my nose. I was never sure just how I should be using this stuff, but it did allow me to grow out my moustache and begin getting nice twists, even with all the curls in my hair. I have recently tried a bee's wax type product that is supposed to have strong hold, and I now know that Clubman was really doing an excellent job for me, and would have been even better if I knew more about how to use it. I probably would have liked it better if I was willing to touch it up a bit during the day.It is kind of expensive, since you can only get it in the little .5 oz tube, but I may go back to it after I try a few other things.

Holds good, washes out fine in the shower. The smell remains me of Lemon meringue pie.

I specifically do not want the handlebar mustache look. But I have enough hair on my upper lip that it needs to be controlled so it isn't blasting out in forty different directions. The Clubman product fits my needs perfectly. I squeeze just a bit (a little less than a quarter inch) on my finger and rub it vigorously into one side of my mustache using thumb and index finger. Then I repeat on the other side. At this point, you can still see the white color of the cream on my stache hair. I then use the little comb that comes with the product to comb each side into its respective direction. You can still see the white color of the product in my hair, but this helps show where you've managed to spread the product to (or more importantly, where you haven't). Once everything is shaped up like I want it, I'm done. I Just try not to muck it up while I finish getting dressed. Usually by the time I'm walking out the door, there is not a real strong color visible on my mustache. Usually lasts 3/4 of a day before I'd need to re-apply product. (But usually by then, I don't really care, so F it). I carry a small hair comb and do the occasional touch up when I'm near a mirror. But I don't add product. Instead, I just comb it back into shape. There is still enough sticky from the morning application to get my hair back in place. So far, this is the best product I've found specifically for mustache styling. It's an excellent product and the price won't break the bank. Good luck.

I'm a young guy, and right now mustaches are the trend, so I decided to grow out my beard and give it a shot (the process took about 2 months). When first playing around with my mustache, I quickly found out that hair pomades/waxes do not work at all on my mustache. It needs something much stronger, and after reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase this product. I had some hesitance in deciding which color to choose (brown or the white/neutral), but I decided to go with the reviews and selected the brown color, since I would describe my beard color as a light brown. The brown color of the product is a little dark for my hair personally, but after brushing it into my mustache hair with the comb, it's not very noticeable at all and actually makes my hair look thicker. After playing with the wax, adding more of it, and patiently styling my mustache into the handlebar look (from a video I found online), this wax actually does the job. Yes, it takes several tries to properly learn how to make your mustache take the shape you desire using the wax (and I highly suggest looking at some online tutorial videos), but the product works excellently. They say 'practice makes perfect' and it's very true in this case. It also holds up for a decent time throughout the day (I won't say it holds all day, but no wax can realistically do that - I'll give it 6-8 hours). Overall, a great product, which can be easily used to style/control your mustache. I will definitely be repurchasing this product in the future.
