Hands On: A Rockin' Rhythmic Romp

I love these. I can't wait to have my students play them. Jim Solomon is an excellent educator.

Great book. Love the words that go along with the rhythms. Most content seems geared to elementary, but I teach in an urban area, so my kids may be more worldly than some. For middle school, the teacher could change some words to reflect more of their interests. Love that the repertoire gets so complex and interesting by the end.

I'm anxious to use this book with my General Music students.

I use this book every week in my classroom. It even has two pieces at the end for recorder and percussion and they are really catchy! Highly recommended.
