I used these books for a jazz-themed recital for my students. The arrangements and songs included work well for a range of student abilities. I appreciate the chord warm-ups for some of the pieces, and these are great for introducing jazz style.

Has a few good arrangements, but some of the pieces aren't quite as jazzy (even though it's level 2) as they could be.

I’m teaching myself to play, & I am enjoying this book immensely. If you run into trouble, you should easily be able to find a video of someone playing it thru online. Ordered this because I’m using the Piano Adventures series, & it is a companion book. It’s a wonderful series for the older beginner, & I highly recommend all of their materials.

I love this jazz series for teaching piano. It introduces the student to snatches of discordant sound and fun rhythms plus the old standards are easy on the ear and so familiar to old teachers.

I don’t play much any more, but this selection gave me a boost. It’s easy enough to be played by the note, but fancy enough so you can embellish. At 80 years old, the fingers work extremely well, and the music mind can catch up!
