These are pretty good, needed to get them to hang some battery powered lights and they got the job done, I think it's a good value, they look great and they are also removed good with minimal residue. I used these for nearly 3 months and they held my light string very well and never did they fall off, break or anything, the only reason I removed them was because I moved offices, otherwise I would have kept them and they are sticky enough to hold stuff but won't stick to your hand, which is great. The only complaint I had was that the hooks and sticky stuff are separate, so you have to out the double sided tape on each hook before you can use it, since I bought a lot of these, it took sometime to do but it was well worth it.

These work very well on almost all surfaces. I didn't have a choice and had to try them on some various painted surfaces, not all with success. Be sure to clean the surface you're using it on first. Try not to touch the sticky pad part or you'll likely transfer oils and debris (yes, my hands were clean) that weaken the adhesion. The bulk of them have lasted over a year with our internal Christmas lights, and the ones that keep falling off are in the same place which tells me it's a surface issue. I haven't tried anything other than lights though so I can't attest to overall weight capabilities. Best part is that they're easy to remove, just yank on the tab (assuming you didn't cover it) and it peels off with no residue, no damage, no marks. Just don't reuse it once it's been applied, the sticky pads (which there are extras provided) have ZERO reusability.

I bought these to hide my under cabinet lighting wires. They have worked great! Occasionally, one or two will need to be replaced at the beginning because the adhesion wasn't perfect but after that, they work great! The first set I bought stayed up for a full year and were easy to remove when I was done with them. I bought them a second time because they worked so well. Great for someone who lives in a rental and can't use nails. The only thing that could be better is sometimes when removing them, the tab can break off, making it much harder to remove the strip. However, this only happened a few times.

This is the only thing you need to know: they stick to stucco. And by stucco, I mean the house exterior, thick, lumpy-textured kind that absolutely nothing but masonry anchors and the curses of your partner trying to fill in the cracks before hurricane season sticks to. The kind that is comprised almost entirely of ancient popcorn-ceiling type smears of a crusty substance that is spread so thin that it can't even hold up a nail. *That* stucco. I wanted to hang some macrame-style decorations on the exterior wall of our house that makes up the back porch, but I didn't want to spend ages struggling with a heavy duty specialty masonry drill and bit. I saw these were cheap, would arrive overnight, and I purchased them on a whim. I admit that I thought the aura of holy light emanating from these hooks was a bit weird when I opened the package, but nope it's legit because when I went to hang them on a flat-ish part of the stucco, THEY STUCK FINE. And I, in the presence of such greatness, got so excited that I disobeyed the Ten Commandments of 3M Adhesive and hung the decorations on them right away instead of waiting the recommended 24 hours. AND THEY STAYED. Of course it started pouring rain immediately after, and as our porch isn't screened in I once again thought oh well. And then the thermometer hit over 92 degrees with full humidity AND what turned into a windy thunderstorm, and I completely gave up on the hooks. There was no way they could stick because they're cheap and tiny. BUT THEY STAYED. These hooks are incredible, and they won't cost you anything beyond the retail price and the price of the offerings of grain and fruit that you'll undoubtedly want to leave for the 3M gods that hold these hooks to your wall in the face of the unholy elements. I think they're meant to hold strings of lights and such, but I was disrespectful to 3M and hung full macrame banners on them and it's literally fine. Either buy these, buy stock in these, or literally build your house out of these because the walls will stay up I pretty much promise.

I used these command clips to hang Christmas light (icicles) on the inside window sill and it is the best fit for the job. The clip is 1/2" W and 3/4" L, crystal clear, and able to hold two and maybe three 22 AWG cables (my icicles lights have 3 wire intertwined together). Before hanging the clips up, I followed the instruction of cleaning the area with isopropyl rubbing alcohol (not household cleaners), attaching the strips to the clips, applying 30 seconds of pressure to the clip against the wall, and waiting 1 hour before hanging the lights. So far, the lights are hanging up with no issues. Here are some warnings and notes on the back of package: 1) Do not use with wallpaper 2) May not adhere well to vinyl surfaces. Some window cases are made of vinyl. 3) Do not use for antiques, heirlooms, or other valuable or irreplaceable items 3) Do not hangs things over beds [There goes my idea of hanging a chandelier over the bed with these :) ] 4) Use only one hook per item hung 5) Apply to surfaces above 50F (10C) 6) Adhesive could lose adhesion above 105F (40C)

I love Command Strips, I needed some to hand a banner from my mantle so I wanted the smaller clear ones. I wish Amazon had included more details about this item because what I received is NOT what was pictured. The picture shows clear tabs, and the size that hold a 1/2 pound. What arrived what white, and smaller than the image. These hooks are TINY, you can hang a necklace but that is about it. I would say they are about 1/2 inch tall, the command strip goes sideways to hold them so it can be a little awkward depending on your space. amazon offered to let me return them but I kept them because they will work for hanging costume jewelry in my closet. So -2 stars for the sizing issues and Amazon being unclear.

This is the first time I've used these, can't recommend them highly enough, fantastic idea, such s simple yet practical solution. They are damage free tried and tested many times and they removes cleanly, they hang and hold items strong like calender's ect, my daughter had some curtain lights that she wanted hang along her wall in her bedroom, i placed 15 of these clips along the top of her wall over a month ago and there still going strong. How to use: * Clean surface, wipe gently, let dry. * Press adhesive to clip * Remove back * Press clip firmly for 30 seconds * Wait 1 hour before use To remove * Never pull strip towards you * Hold clip gently to prevent hook from snapping fingers * Do not press clip against wall * Stretch it straight down along the wall until strip releases from wall. * Go slow Overall these are a great buy and a must for any kitchen draw : )
