LR4 2015
Did first oil change at home with mityVac based on Uberto's youtube video for how to do oil change on LR4. This is only oil available on amazon that meets specification per my car manual. Cannot use Castrol edge professional Titanium [which is an excellent oil] as castrol itself in Q&A says that it doesn't meet ST-JLR 51.5122 SPECIFICATION.LR4 feels great now, engine is smooth. Used Acdalco filter which had perfect fitting. did buy two 5 lit container.My suggestion to Motul is to sell it by 8.5 lit container. There is only one kind of engine that uses this oil and from what I am reading , this engine always takes little over 8 lit [ or 8.45 US QT ] of oil.Will buy this product till I own land rover.Thank you Motul.

It’s Motul oil in spec formulation for JLR-Ford motors
What’s not to like? Motul quality full synthetic oil formulated to meet the JLR-Ford spec. No valvetrain noise, tensioners are quiet, even st start up. Of course we all wish it cost less but quality ester based oil is much more costly than PAO or Group III base oils. This is priced similar to Redline, also an ester oil, yet this meets JLR spec. That makes it worth the cost for me.

The 51.5122 Oil
Last year I used the Motul 0W20 on my Jag F-Type oil change. It meets the 51.5122 Jag and Land Rover specs. However, Liquid Moly 20410 also meets the 51.5122 specs. So, I may try them this year. I can't rely on Castrol's unavailability games.
