Soundcraft EPM8 8-Channel Multi-format Mixer, (4) XLR to XLR 15ft cables, (4) 1/4 to 1/4 15ft cables

As others have stated, the mixer itself is a great sounding piece of equipment for the price. Definite recommend.However, I'd like to comment on the package this comes with. Beware the 4 cheap 1/4" instrument cables. While they don't crackle or anything they SMELL horrible and the smell has not lessened after a month. They smell like some kind of toxic petroleum after stench; the smell will be left on your hands after handling these cables. People who have entered my practice space have commented on the smell. You will want to change them out as soon as you can afford to, so factor that into this package price. The mic cables don't seem to smell as bad, although they have a bit of an odor. I didn't use them so can't comment on their sound quality.

The mixer was great but the cables not at all... very noisy. Buy the mixer by itself. .

Perfect solution mixer if you need something compact with a little bit of signal routing. 2 aux sends are nice for a mixer this size. Inserts on all channels AND masters is a nice add too.This package came with 4 XLR and 4 1/4" cables for the same price you could get the mixer alone, so it made a really easy decision.The only reason I didn't give 5 starts:In the picture, the 4 patch cables are balanced (3 conductor...Tip-Ring-Sleeve). The actual cables I got were NOT balanced, they were basically short guitar cables.Not the end of the world, but still worth noting.
