Fun and useful book, it's very aesthetically pleasing on the shelf. They break down the words phonetically with how the word sounds. They offer different sections for the words or phrases. Highly recommend. They have many different languages. Grab one!

i like how the book is a small enough size that you can take it anywhere with you. rather than it being a heavy school book. i also appreciate how the information is spread out into the book it makes it so much easier to understand. if your looking for a simple yet effective book on Italian this is for you.

A little on the thick side to be classified a pocket guide, but nonetheless a good and useful reference book. Reasonably well organized. I found it very handy on a recent visit to Italy, possessing no previous Italian language skill.

I saw this at Anthro but I was able to get this here for a cheaper price, This was a present for a coworker that was going to be traveling soon , she liked it. And the size makes it accessible to stick in your purse :)

This book is so adorable and has SO much more info than I thought. I thought it was going to be a little 30 page book with just basics to survive a short vacation but it has a great amount to get you started!

Very helpful and easy-to-read book. Very thick though, not compact for traveling.

The Penguin Italian Phrasebook is ok too thick to take on a trip would have appreciated darker print or brighter print

Excellent book. First used it in 1968 when it was a smaller, more portable size. It seriously helped us navigate our way through the first few months of living in Italy. Still as good today and presumably there's more in it given its larger dimensions ( or has it been eating too much pasta? )

Quite an interesting and useful book but limited. That's what you would expect from a book of this size

I had an earlier version of this which fell apart. This one is even more extensive. Some may find it a little large to carry around.

Ideal little book for the beginner. Useful phrases laid out in sections, basic grammar and vocabulary.

Item as described, No problems. Would buy from this vendor again.
