Great Regondi

5 stars is way too few for this CD! I listened to it last night, was spell bound, blown away, and almost punched into the web, JUST to write a review. (Doing this the next morning...) This is simply one of the most amazing, beautiful CDs I have EVER heard. Such amazing music, and three stellar performers. YES!!!

I can honestly say that I have never heard guitar, or any other music instrumentals, that transported me to musical bliss of this order. A must for all music lovers not just guitar afficianados. This music is sui generis. Breathtakingly beautiful. Purchase at all costs, as well as everything else, this composer wrote however few have been recorded.

I bought this as a fan of the guitar music of the era and was not disappointed. Starobin is a fantastic player. Fluid with great tone. Then, I found that the concertina music was delightful, emotional, and just a treat all around. This album is a rare and eclectic treat.

Music more serious for an instrument otherwise not taken that seriously.He comes closer to being a "Chopin" of the guitar than most others.
