The mirror extenders themselves are great. I would love to give these a 5 star review. Unfortunately the bolts they come with are incorrect for the product. Would be a significant issue if you don’t have the means to modify. The Allen bolt heads are just a little too wide to fit in the recess of the extenders. Luckily with just a few minutes on a bench grinder I was able to rectify. Pretty glaring oversight on the manufacturer’s part. If I didn’t have a grinder readily available I would have returned and gave a worse review. If you can’t modify the bolts yourself it would require a trip to the hardware store.

The product provides a great benefit for my 650 V strom. It helps reduce the buffeting, and provides a much better rear view. Only thing I did not like was no instructions and the mirror mount is a cinch bolt and can be tricky to tighten up. Also, I had to place the washer under the mount to have enough room to clear the controls on the left side. The right sits up higher because the mirror mount also holds the master cylinder. A very good useful product.

The fit and finish of these are great very robust units only negative is that they dont come with stainless hardware.. i feel that for a few bucks more that should be included but a simple trip to the hardware store and all is good they do what they are designed to do get your mirrors up and out over your shoulders

I was disappointed in these. First, the engraving as shown in the picture was not on the set I purchased. More importantly, the machining tolerances were off. The supplied bolts did not fit in into the recessed part of the piece. It took work with some emery cloth and a file to make them fit, but at over twice the cost of similar items, they should have been perfect.

Mounting bolts are unpainted steel. Be sure to paint the cap as it will rust immediately.
