Does not work for 3/4 stock as pictured. About 1/8th too short

On 3/4 inch stock the tongue cutter leaves fins on the top and bottom. Note the dimensions shown. The total height from top of top cutter to bottom of bottom cutter is 3/4 inch. I have tried it on several pieces of stock and if adjusted perfectly there are fins left top and bottom. It takes a razor blade to remove them and the joint looks terrible.

Good bits for an awesome price and the resulting joint is a snug fit. Just be sure to use finger boards or something to hold parts down on table or your lint will be wavy.

Yes, it’s a cheap bit, but even in MDF, I amhaving to work very very hard to plunge down the router to make the groove. Not sharp at all. The yellow coating is coming off, leaving grooves in the material that doesn’t belong there. And, most of these reviews are for a different bit. Misleading people using the shown product with the wrong reviews. I’m making the faux raised panel doors with MDF, and it’s taking me about 15 minutes per door. Wish I could find a much better bit at a reasonable price.

Cutting tips are not of identical width and are not precision aligned on both bits making it difficult to center and the resultant tongue and groove do not match edge to edge and are not a snug fit.

My experience is the same as many other 1-2 star reviews. Bought this back in Feb 2020 to make simple shaker-style doors. Tongue and grove fit was very sloppy, even after I added the extra washer (I only received one even though one of the pictures shows two). Cutters are not in alignment with each other, could be sharper, and I experience a lot of burning and chip out. Used on 3/4” poplar and had to sand off the extra grains left over even though I had adjusted it to perfect center. Wouldn’t recommend. Next time I’ll just use my table saw.

Looks like great quality! My father in law is a woodworker, thought he’d be able to use these for a shaker style door for some bathroom cabinets he’s working on.

These work great for making a tongue and groove in our wood projects. It does leave some that has to be cut away, but that is because of the lumber dimensions. The parts fit together great! Saves time at the table saw.
