Nitecore TIP 2 (TIP2) Keychain Flashlight, 720 Lumen LED High Lumen USB Rechargeable for EDC Pocket with LumenTac Charging Cable

I've only had this about a week, but I love it. I bought this to put on the key fob for my '05 Prius and it's a great fit. Without the pocket clip, it's almost exactly the same length and thickness, but a little narrower.It feels solid and I like that the buttons are on the side. I believe it will not to turn on accidentally in my pocket. This unit is replacing a well used MecArmy SGN3 which has become unreliable due to wear. The MecArmy was smaller but turned on unexpectedly, draining the battery. The TIP2s is a good size, is brighter much brighter than the SGN3, and best of all, has the magnetic base.I work inside metal equipment cabinets and the magnetic base is a big plus. I can pull it off the keychain and stick to the cabinet to light up my work area. Even though you can't tilt it to aim the light, I believe it is bright enough to light up the area I'm working on. You just have to find the right spot... and remember to pick it up again when you're done!I haven't had the chance to test the run time, but if it matches the specs, I will be happy. Recharging was easy once the cap comes off. The first time I removed it, I thought I would break it from pulling too hard, but the hasp attaches to a metal plate inside the cap and it's very strong. The magnet is strong enough that I am not worried about the flashlight falling off.The TIP2 meets or exceeds all my expectations so far. If anything changes over time, I will update this review.

Very bright, seems to have good battery life, love the Keychain & clipSo... I bought this for work, I work overnight at a grocery store, yeah there is lighting, but they save energy when closed, so the lights dim down a whole lot for my whole shift.... that's where the light comes in handy!I keep it clipped to my hip till I need itThen I clip it to the bill of my hat when I'm using it, to brighten areas our dimmed lights don't really shineI use it in short bursts of 4~5min at a time throughout my 8hr shift, then charge when I get homeI actually like the size and brightness 🔆The magnetic feature is very nice, clips to the Keychain part vary strongly 💪 and I can have something metal hold the light for me and have free handsI don't understand how to see/read how much battery life is left though

The Nitecore TIP 2 keychain flashlight makes a great portable pocket mini light to keep with you at all times. It runs for a very long time on the lower brightness settings and gets very bright on the full output of 720 lumens though you will take a hit on battery life.

I show this off to people and recommend it to them as well. It fits in your pocket unobtrusively, the magnet keeps it wherever you stick it, the brightness is great and the battery lasts a long time if you aren't just out at night pointing it at everything constantly. Would definitely buy another nitecore product

I never thought i would love a flashlight but here I am. The amount of random times i use this everyday is crazy. I have owned this keychain light for over 2 years and its still kicking butt. VERY VERY VERY durable. U can throw this thing around & it will take it no problem. This thing is TINY but my lord is this thing blinding BRIGHT on high. My gf jokes and says its a mini cop flashlight lol. I charge it once a month if that but use it everyday on high. Usb c charging in a mini light is awesome because everything is usb c.

Great light, I tested it at night with the car lights off, i can actually drive at 40km/h at night with its light and see where I am going ( wont drive far, but it emits enough light to see where you are going)update 4months later:WHY anybody would design a torch with a light that goes out after 30seconds IS BEYOND MY LEVEL OF COMPREHENSION , now I have to do a internet search again to figure out the sequence of how to turn the 30 second darkness feature offff, I hope there will be a firmware update to change the ridiculously short 30 second Darkness feature to something like 1 minute or turn it OFF FOREVER / REMOVE the ridiculous feature, Imagine buying a light that turns off by itself, after importing it to my country the cost is equivalent to buying a Drill or something, and I choose to buy a torch smaller than a car key that turns off the moment you start to get busy, and then you have to search the internet again how to make it stay on till you turn it off, because I wont be storing that info in my brain or keep the instruction manual with me 24 / 7 …Another thing is the duration you have to keep the switch pressed in to turn it on.. why so long If I want light , I want it now, so I have to resort to Turbo mode which is sometimes way to bright.Another feature is the lowest light setting, who is supposed to use that, the light may just as well be OFF..Please release a firmware update.

I love this little light, I use it everyday.It fits great in my pocket, has great battery life.It is bright enough for all uses.The magnit on the tail is very strong and very useful.Love that the light can be recharged.
