Awesome Guitar. Great Price
Purchased for my husband. This is his reciew: Came double boxed and undamaged. Changed out the strings and adjusted the bridge tension for the lighter gauge strings. Plays like a dream. Both pickups sound great. The only complaint I have is that the picture on the website shows the top strap button on the back, just above the neck bolt plate (2nd image), when it's actually located on the slope above the neck (1st image). I was playing and my strap popped off and I almost dropped it. I've ordered a locking strap to prevent it from happening again. I want to move the button, but I don't want to leave a hole, or blemish, on this beauty. Maybe I'll just add a 3rd button where it's supposed to be. Bottom line: I love it.

Amazing
People complaining about broken strings on arival know nothing. Always change your new guitar's strings. This guitar is sick. Sounds great on high gain and clean. Trem doesnt need much setup. Only issues for me, fret board looks a little 'dry' but it gives it character. Also dont change all strings at once or else you run the chance of loosening the whammy bar, but you can fix this by using an alan wrench and tightning again from the back. Slight neck dive but your arm should be able to stabilize it. Overall sick, super fun, handles all the sweeps, shreds and power chords.

Beautiful Looks and Tone
I love the look of this guitar. Its gorgeous and it reminds me of James Herfields White Explorer and his Snakebyte. So it's cool to have. Its smooth when you play it, string tension is great and the action is low enough to make tapping up by the 24th fret a breeze. The only issues I have with the guitar are when your sitting with it, which is pretty much what most people do when they practice guitar, the big top bands your arm up to an angle that will make you arm sore after a good long session of jamming. Also, if you dont know how to restring a floyd rose style bridge correctly you could have super super tight strings, something I accidentally did while re stringing for the first time. The tone is awesome for my standards, practicing on a 30 watt amp sounds amazing with this guitar. You arent going to get bored playing this guitar, even if you do you look down and see the simple beauty of the guitar and you wanna play it more. The fretboard is perfect thickness too. Not to skinny not too thick. Whether it's for collection to hang on the wall or you actually play, this guitar is ideal all around.

Excellent playing guitar right out of the boxes.
Extremely well packaged. Perfect Jackson quality out of the box. All it needed was to be tuned up. Action is perfectly setup from the factory. The pickups sound awesome as well. Arrived on time. Very happy with this guitar and the fair price.

Just a hot looking ride
The neck plays nicely and the pickups do sound every bit as good as my LTD EX200....and that was a 600.00 axx. I will say the fret board feels like it should be lightly filed all along the lower end where your palm will move from low end to the high end and that's throughout the whole fretboard. The action it a little high, however, with it being 360.00.... I'm good with taking it to a Luther and have him go through it and put some fresh strings on it... Otherwise out of the box I was rocking it out with you know what out.

I really wanted to love this guitar
I was so excited when this was delivered. After opening the box there were several cosmetic flaws. The tone on the guitar is the same, regardless of the pick-up selection, and it is very bland with almost no sustain. If you buy this guitar, you should do one of three things: prepare for a trip to the luthier, ready yourself to file the frets for hours, or invest in band aides for the cuts you are going to have on your fingers. The frets are literally the worst I have ever seen, this includes the $100 budget guitars. If you aren't particular about the Jackson name being on your instrument, go over to Westcreek and get a better guitar and save some money.
