Really Stinks, but works well
Lots and lots of deer travel around my neighborhood leaving destroyed landscaping in their wake. This product has really helped with keeping them away from my garden. Just remember to reapply after it rains.

Deer Out WORKS
Used last year not a single bean eaten. This year I hung scent blocks supposed to repell deer and I surrounded the area with fishing line and aluminum pie plates hanging from the fishing line perimeter. I was sure they wouldn't cross the hanging plates to eat my beans. We went away for a weekend and in 3 days they ate every bean. They walked right through my patch and ate it all. I'll replant the beans this weekend and once their up I'll spray every 5-7 days. Just a light mist is all that is needed.

Works Great Once Dry
We've used Deer-Out in diluted spray form for years in a community with a large population of tame deer. Spray generously on dry leaves & stems, let dry for a few hours, and it lasts for weeks. They say there's some systemic protection as well, but I think foliar application is the key. Two things, though: (1) Be sure to re-spray whenever there's a lot of new growth; spraying once in the Spring won't protect leaves, flowers and fruit that appear after spraying (2) Watering or a rain before the Deer-Out has dried and/or been absorbed into the leaves (not sure which) usually means start over after the plant dries out.

Working so far
I just bought this product and mixed it up in a gallon spray container and used it for the first time. The deer are decimating azaleas and rhododendron all year. I tried Irish Spring hanging in the plants, but they just ate the soap after a couple weeks. They trample the mulch and make a mess. I noticed a few days after spraying this, the mulch was undisturbed and no new nibbles were evident. The thing is, i read online that these spray products work best if you are faithful to using them on a weekly basis, no matter what the directions say. I can believe it as I've tried other spray products according to directions and still had plants ruined. So, wanting to follow I weekly regimen, I find it can get expensive. The best alternative is to only plant deer-resistant plants to begin with. This product will work very well, if I can afford it.

Great results for past two years
I have been using this regularly in New Hampshire for the past two years. We border a large wooded area (800 acres) where deer are numerous. The deer regularly devoured our garden, especially the hostas and lillies. I started using this product two years ago. I spray about every month or so and I use warm water to make sure the pressure sprayer does not clog (it doesn't). I spray in March when things are just waking up and then regularly after the snow melts. This year the deer have not touched anything. We are seeing flowers we have never seen before because the deer usually ate the buds. The hostas are incredible and untouched. We have a very large garden area (over 10,000 square feet) and so it is a bit pricey to use. But the results are amazing. We still see deer in the gardens and walking through our property, but the only thing they eat is stuff I have not yet sprayed. Once I spray, the plants are safe. For us, the results are spectacular. I wish they could lower the price, but we have a lot of garden to protect.

Smells great! Works Great!
I spray this using a handheld sprayer on hostas, cone flowers, hydrangea. It is pleasant smelling and is effective against deer, rabbits and squirrels. I highly recommend.

Does Not Work !
Does not work, had to spray everyday & the deer still ate my honeysuckle ! Bought 32oz Concentrate Deer Repellent (Pack of 2) but used only enough for 1/2 gallon. Can not return due to the return window has closed already, so now I am stuck with 64 oz of products I cannot use ! Very frustrating and from now on I will stick with Bobbex because I know it works ! Do Not Buy Deer Out, should be named Deer Dine In !

This is the best garden deer repellent !
Finally a deer repellent that really works. Concentrated, so mixes with water. One bottle lasted me through several applications. I applied it with a pump sprayer bottle, and was able to do my entire yard in 10 mns. The best part of this product is its minty odor. No more disgusting smell that you get when using other repellents. The spray lasted through rain, too. Even hostas were untouched.I was unable to find it in any garden stores in my area, so had to order it on-line.
