One and a half years later u decided to write my review. Amazingly this little guy has done me well. Powered stereo and amp and 5 speakers and 3 electric fans and more in my 1975 corvette. Pulled for a motor swap and cleaned it in this video.

I used it on my 79 cutlass with a 350 Chevy small block it was a direct fit great quality for a good price

Looks and works great

Purchased this item from DB Electrical via Amazon.com. Installed in my classic '57 Chevy which I drive very infrequently. Immediately noticed that the alternator had a high pitch squeal. Thought it was the newness and decided to see if the noise would go away after using it a couple of times. A few weeks later I again drove the vehicle and still noticed the squeal. I contacted DB Electrical via Amazon.com and DB contacted me that they would forward a pick-up order for return and replacement. After I emailed them with some information I waited and no response. I again sent an email via Amazon.com and again after a delay I received notice from DB that they could not authorize a pick-up and that I would need to return at my expense and they would issue a replacement. Said the 30 day free return and replacement period had expired. I explained that I was unable to determine whether the squeal was a continuing problem within the 30 day limitation. Did not matter to them. I explained they had sold me a defective product and I should not have to pay for a return. Did not matter to them. So I have sent the alternator back for replacement at a $15.50 out of pocket shipping expense. I really don't even want another alternator from this company but I have no choice since they will not refund my purchase. After the first 30 days, they will only offer a replacement during the 12 month warranty period.

What a fantastic alternator. I installed this part on my 1967 Camaro with dual electric fan, electric fuel pump, and with all the lights working I still read over 14 volts, awesome, plus it has a nice chrome finish. I love it

Alternator is a little noisy, but looks nice!

Did a side by side measurement of everything before I attempted to install. Matched my old alternator exactly. Installed with no problems. Quiet. Puts out 14v which is a little high.

First the shipping was insanely fast, item received with no brand name as per the listing “DB Electrical” not on the alternator, not in the box, bout even any branding documents, I doubt it is what it says. I haven’t installed it yet, will update the review once installed, for sure I need to check if it really gives 100 Amps as claimed.

Chrome is nice, installed properly and works well.
