Dry by itseslf, but a little oil and vinegar (plus raw veggies) goes a long way!
We thought this was a good way to find out whether my husband would like soybeans added to his diet when mixed with other types of beans which we like. I tested the first pouch myself, and noted that it was tasty, but dry when simply heated in the microwave in a small bowl. No problem! I chopped up some celery and red onion, added basalmic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil (the latter from a specialty source so I know it's pure olive oil), and added just a touch of sea salt. That went into the refrigerator in a glass bowl with a silicon lid to marinate for the next trial a day later. The next time I tried the bean mix with my husband, I added generous amounts of the onion and celery from the refrigerator to two serving bowls with the beans, covered the bowls and let them sit for an hour or so until we were ready to eat. Two minutes each in the microwave, and we had a very tasty hot meal that was just moist enough and filling enough to make us happy. Add a little fruit on the side as we did, and it's a well-rounded meal. Those with bigger appetites can always add Triscuits and/or cheese as well as fruit for a more filling meal. In the summertime I often make a big bowl of bean salad, using well-rinsed canned, low-sodium beans and some other things (which will be cheaper) but now I'll be adding soybeans to that salad. (Amazon sells Eden brand which are low sodium, BTW.) As for these convenient pouches, I can think of several ways to use them. Sometimes smaller is better, since there's just the two of us and we're pretty active for seniors. These could even be used as a side dish in a "thrown together last-minute" meal. Please note that the pouches are NOT microwaveable, and that is clearly stated on the packaging. We also noted that the original ingredients in the pouches inluded rice vinegar, but if so, it wasn't enough to notice. We keep basalmic vinegar on hand, so that's what we used.

Tasty and convenient
These beans are amazing. Organic, ready to eat and healthy. We use them in salads for fiber and protein. Mix them up with some vegan or not vegan Mayo, delicious! We also put them in tacos and burritos, just mix them up in a blender with taco seasoning!! Yummy.

Great mixture
I bought to eat while driving across country. I really like the mixture and the simplicity of making a meal with these. Sometimes I just mix with a salad. Other times I eat with rice and a hot veggies. Come in a pitch, not a tin. Another plus. They are a bit pricey.
