I usually do not write reviews but I had to on this product. First, upon opening the box there were no directions inside. Although it looked simple I wrote and requested directions just to be sure. I spent an hour screwing it together when one of the screws went in, it busted and chipped the "wood." For kicks, since it was already busted, I screwed the rest of it together. About 6 of the remaining screws would not screw in. They just slid right out with no way of securing them. 6 of them. I did try putting the pieces in that help secure the screw and those didn't work either. It's supposed to be a bench so nobody would be able to sit on that thing for any reason. It's very cheaply made and not worth the money. Do not waste your time.
