The Primarchs: The Horus Heresy, Book 20

All of them were great.. But specially the last one. Always love to read more about the Alpha Legion and it's tricky ways.

The Primarchs is a very strong collection of novellas.The Reflection Crack'd is a story of Lucius and the Emperor's Children. A very important one for a look inside this legion.Feat of Iron - a story of Ferrus Manus. Not my favorite primarch, but it's an interesting attempt to deliver a message to him.The Lion - I really hate the Lion. I mean, REALLY hate him. That being said, this may be the best story with him that I've read.The Serpent Beneath - a story of the Alpha Legion. As you would expect, twists within twists. Very well written.

“The Reflection Crack’d” is marvelously creepy, and “The Serpent Beneath” is as twisty and perplexing as one could wish an Alpha Legion story to be....

Right book in good condition

Very good book. Good stories about the primarchs. It does not cover them all just a heads up.

If your looking for continuing the story line of Horus Heresy I would skip. The I have read all the books up to this and very little if anything really is related to anything I've read which I'm kinda annoyed at because at 15 dollars a pop. I'm really interested in the primary line. It's not the first book I felt in the series and I'm a bit annoyed and had to remark on it. These stories can be and are interesting but I don't think believe should be considered if your looking for meat into Horus's Heresy. Just saying ....for the money you can skip this one. Also back to 15bucks .. if every flipping book wasn't 15. I'd say get it but that are and the departure from the primary story line seems like a money grab.

My son is enthralled with the Horus Heresy series, we will have them all, of this I am sure.

Another great group of short stories filling out the motivations of the different legions.
