Does the job it’s designed to
Tiny but easier to refill than a reusable ink cartridge in pens that are too small for a standard international converter. It’s a trade off on ink quantity.

Good Converter, Poor Packaging
I got this to go with my Schneider Ray cartridge rollerball, which works perfectly with this converter. It doesn't hold that much ink, having a noticable air pocket after filling; but i'm not constantly writing things down,so I can go a while before refilling. I had to order a second one, and the second one was crushed in shipping, but that's because it was not in any sort of protective container, so the side walls are partly fractured and the mouth is oval shaped, but as it's not the fault of the manufacturer I will not deduct a star.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This one did not.
I bought this to fit in the Kaweco Classic Sport Clear Fine Point Fountain Pen - KWCF-CL-F , and took a gamble based on reviews. It did not fit in this pen -- but reading some of the Q&As I noticed someone mention the J. Herbin rollerballs, for which I have converters, and these fit very nicely in the Kaweco Classic Sport. The difference between the ones I got with my J. Herbin pens and this one two is about a millimeter or two of length on the open/narrow end of the converter - it just won't seat right in the pen as it is, no matter how hard I pushed. The converters I had from before fit like a glove with almost no effort. Funny thing is that the converters from before (with the J. Herbin pens) are also Monteverde Mini-Converters, so I don't really know why they're different. They definitely are very slightly different, though. I'll hold on to this to possibly use with another pen in the future - I have a skyline in the mail, and maybe that will fit. Photos to follow.

Great converter!
I got this to use in a MOMA aluminum fountain pen. It fits ok in the MOMA pen (it was listed in the regularly purchased tab when I bought the pen), but wiggles around a little bit and makes me worry that it might pop out and leak ink all over my pocket. But, that is an issue with the MOMA pen and Amazon's generation of reccomended produts, NOT an issue with this converter. The convertor works great. It is easy to fill (just twist the back end while dipped in ink) and has great ink flow.

Fits other Yaffa brands too, including Conklin
So Yaffa manufactures both Monteverde and Conklin pens. I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger since you can find threaded converts sold as Conklin elsewhere (for a lot more) and I couldn't find any confirmation that this was definitely the same thing. Here's your confirmation: it's the same thing- identical to the converter that shipped with my Duragraph. The quality is great- they feel solid, and I can get a good fill out of them. Nothing else interesting to say. You should probably only buy one if you have a Monteverde or Conklin pen (or possibly another Yaffa brand) because of the threading (and because you have a million other options for cheap standard international converters).

Fits Perfectly in my Bulow X750 Pen
I bought one of the Bulow X750 Kompass pens and accidentally broke the converter that came with it, so I took a chance on this Monteverde Ink Converter. I've read some reports that this converter is too long for some pens, but I am happy to report it fits perfectly in my pen. It took a little more force to push it into position, but that could just because its new. After writing a couple of pages with the converter installed, I have noticed no problems with ink flow. It works as good as the one that came with the pen.

Useless to me
I got excited about using these in my Kaweco Sport and also my Platinum Preppy with an adapter. So I bought a slew of them after I'd read that they wear out after 7-8 refills. I've tried four of them, and none of them have much of a suction to draw the ink. The little ink that did go in was mostly bubbles. So I bought a syringe and now I just refill regular cartridges. They can last through multiple refills, so it's about the same. I have to do that with my Ohto Tasche anyway, since it's too short for a converter. Save your money and patience -- avoid these.

Perfect size
This is the perfect size for my Herbin Jacques Ref 21677T pen. It doesn't leak. It holds a good amount of ink for the size. It is a durable product. I consider this a good value. Using a ink filling syringe it is easy and mess free fill.

A well thought out product by Monteverde. A converter that you screw on to your pen... Gives a bit of reassurance that the converter won't come off. As long as you remember that it is screwed in and that you didn't just use a standard converter... when you are removing it that is.

Great fit on my fountain pen. This ink converter fits like a standard short ink cartridge. Most ink converters do not fit my pen but this one did. Most converters have tips that are too large, this one is sized identical to a standard international short ink cartridge.

It is expensive for its size. It is not even the size of a standard cartridge. Most of these shipments from US/UK in Amazon is disproportionately very high. These external sellers are making fortune. Other thing in terms of the product itself, it does not look like a screw type although you see threads, irrespective of it, a light push is all that is required to move the piston. You can see in the picture, how small it is.
