Wireless 2G essential
First the bad stuff...included directions are crap for a brand new person never connecting and pairing to Echo device. It is a two step procedure, or more, if your wireless happens to be 5G instead of 2G. 2G is essential for compatibility! This is very important. Took me two hours talking with my wireless company to get them to help me get 2G - we all know how much fun it is to deal with these companies - NOT. Finally after half a day of obtaining 2G, and downloading software to pair w Echo Alexa product, it miraculously worked.Good stuff...once set up it has worked perfectly from voice prompt to Echo, and from smart phone. It is much less expensive to get these smart outlet plugs than plugs from other companies. It works well from an extension cord with several items, like twinkle lights, plugged into the extension cord, and the extension cord then plugged into smart outlet. Now that it is set up I would not hesitate to buy more of these very same smart outlet plugs. And hey! I am a 66 year old grandmother and worked tirelessly to get this up all on my own! If I was able to do this surely you young techy wonky kids will be able to accomplish it much easier than I did.

Easy setup, reliable operation and 16 Amp load limit.
I have two plugs. I have a Mesh router on one plug and a regular router on the other plug. Both plugs work perfectly. One plug is away from the other plug. I can turn on my lights at both locations without any delay. Amazing! I use the plugs to read humidly levels at remote locations. I have one plug on a program turning on and off automatically using my settings. The other plug I turn on from my cell phone. The Smart Life App is great and easy to setup. Remember, they only work on the 2.5 GHz band. Should you have a problem connecting, repeat the instructions over again. My Mesh router required 4 tries before switching to 2.5 GHz. Once it connects the next Plug will connect quickly. The Regular router should not be a problem. I now use my smart speaker to turn on the lights using the Google Home App by giving the plug a unique name or location. I enjoy having control over my equipment.

Integrates well
Very easy to connect into home network and integrate into Alexa. Note that the wifi connection can only be on the 2.4 GHz wifi frequency and there is no option for connection at 5 GHz.The iOS TuyaSmart app was used to connect the plug to the network and control it. This app appears to be a generic form of the branded SmartLife app. Additional control of the plug can be achieved with Alexa through a skill which links Alexa to the TuyaSmart network. Also, control can be done through Google Home as well. Note that the plug also can be controlled by Siri using the TuyaSmart app to create the link to Siri, however, the plug will not appear in or be controlled by Apple Homekit.

Easy Setup, Great App Versatility, Excellent Range!
I cannot say enough good things about my Gosund Smart Outlet Mini Sockets! The price is great, which makes it so much more affordable to move your home into the age of automation. This particular set is nice because a plug does not block the outlet not in use. This enables you to convert both sockets to a smart plug. The app is intuitive and very functional. You can simply use the on/off function or you can set myriad scheduled combinations for the on/off cycle. Really, setup was astonishingly simple. Another great thing about these plugs is the good 2.4 GHz range. I am using these in a 2,000 sq ft house and I get great signal from the units on the opposite end of the house from my router. If you are in the market for smart plugs, you will not go wrong with these.

16amp & Stackability
Most of these come in 10amp and if you are going to plug anything in to this that draws more than 10amp's, it wont work. I purchased the 16amp's for 2 reasons. 1 i can plug my water kettle into it for that early morning tea (over 10amps) and 2, these stack on a double outlet unlike the round ones. I say if you are going to buy smart plugs, the 16amps are the way to go for power and stackability. If you will never need these 2 things, the round 10amps work well too.

I love these!
I have 4 of these and they are awesome! No more need for old analog timers, that usually cost more! I have one in the garage to turn on the battery tender on a car I have in storage, one at my office to turn on a grow light for my office plants, one in the kitchen to turn on my slow cooker when needed and one upstairs to turn on my whole house fan at night. They are a piece of cake to setup and give you way more control over your appliances compared to old analog times.

Very Reliable Smart Plugs
Had been experiencing very sporadic service using a TP-Ling plug for several months with Alexa. Spoke with their customer service, but none of their suggestions made any difference. Finally decided to try a different brand. Bought 2 Gosund Smart mini Sockets. Took a few minutes to active them, but have been using them regularly for a few weeks now without one problem. Wife is much happier now. She has a very low tolerance for anything electronic that malfunctions!!

Working very well
Works like they are supposed too.Easy to connect as long as you separate your 2.4GHz network from the 5.0GHz one... it needs a 2.4GHz network to connect to!They work perfectly it makes things so much easier. You do have to download an app to set them up, but after set-up, everything can be done through voice commands to Alexa.Love that this plug connects to Alexa which allows me to turn on my lamp remotely, no more falling trying to turn on lights in the dark. You can also turn on and off the outlets from the app anywhere. if there is a power outage, then you don't have to reconnect.A great addition to the automated home!
