Intex 28051 Solar Cover Roller for Swimming Pools 274-488 cm Aluminium and PVC Grey

Absolutely fantastic. Ive had a pool for over a years now and upgraded to a bigger one this year and knowing how hard it was to put a cover on a small(er) pool and that in the end I gave up I decided this year I was going to do things properly. The roller itself was easy to build, just a case of working out how many pieces required and clicking into place. Then screwed the ends on to the pool sides, inserted the rod into place and then attached the solar over using the plastic clips. Probably one of the best things ive ever purchased for my pool and although it states needs two people to use I can easily do it on my own.

Got it on my INTEX rectangle pool, rolls up the cover nicely, saves having to find a place to put the cover when the pool is in use. Very good!

Why it attaches on brackets that go across the pool (rather than on one end) I can't fathom as it does impinge significantly on pool, but it does make using cover a breeze.

First ever piece that arrived amongst all my pool related order. It was easy to connect the roller poles. But you would need a good idea of how long you’d need. It is not something you can fix to a length whilst you haven’t got the pool. As we have assembled it without the pool we anticipated how much poles we would need. We actually didn’t use one of the poles (we got the 18ft x 9ft x 4ft bestway pool). As we have a 500micron solar sheet of 20ft x12ft we knew we have to cut it down. So we ended up mounting the roller on a make shift stand, longer that the width of the pool, so we could spread the solar sheet on top of it. We measured and cut it in this set up. Once we got the size we wanted we just adjusted the length to attach it to the bars of the pool. And that’s it. It’s easy to roll in and out. Also, as our sheet is quite thick we needed to punch a whole so that the locking bit of the clip would work. But once this is all done, it works well.

Last year I has a smaller Intex pool and getting the solar cover on and off was really bad because it got dirty too quickly and was hard to store somewhere...this year as I was getting a bigger pool I needed to invest in something easier, I found this roller...now my pool is still not as big as the minimum requirements but we have it fixed up OK and it works...we didn't use all the poles and one end isn't totally clicked in properly but it's working and it's brilliant, it will be dismantled in autumn anyway to makeway for the winter cover...my pool is 2m wide by 4m long

Good value and a great roller

Easy to assemble but could be stronger as it droops in the middle even without the cover on. Ok for the price and quality.

So much easier to roll up a cover. Sturdy build and well worth the money

J'ai commandé cet enrouleur pour ma piscine hors sol Intex 7.32m sur 3.66m de 33m3. Je l'ai associé à une bâche à bulles sur mesure faite par mon pisciniste de 400 microns d'épaisseur, cousue sur ses 4 bords, donc une bâche très lourde et résistante, eh bien, l'enrouleur fonctionne parfaitement, cela fait un gros rouleau épais une fois enroulée mais ras, la fonction blocage permet d'éviter qu'elle ne se déroule durant la baignade. Le montage est simplissime, monté avec mon fils de 13 ans, il suffit de fixer les manivelles de chaque côté de la piscine rectangulaire, sur les tubes, avec un système de serrage identique à celui du skimmer de surface intex, en serrant deux vis à main. Ensuite, d'assembler les tubes entre eux, qui sont eux même téléscopiques, donc adaptables, en les enclenchant dans les trous prévus (un schéma de montage est disponible mais nous n'en avons pas même eu besoin), de fixer les cordes dans la bâche (ce qui nécessite son perçage, rien de bien méchant mais avec ma bâche 400 micron ce fut un peu ardu à faire,= et le tour est joué. Ce sera démontable très facilement en fin de saison. Bref, je recommande à tout possesseur d'une piscine hors sol tubulaire de marque Intex en tous cas.
