Spotted Yellow Frogs: Fold-out Fun with Patterns, Colors, 3-D Shapes, Animals Hardcover – September 1, 1998

Matthew Van Fleet is one of my favorite authors. This books is so creative, the way he blends animals, patterns and 3D shapes in a lift-the-flap format. Our kids loved this book when they were little, so I bought it as a gift for my nephew. I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 because the back of the book at black gummy smudges on it....and I bought it new through Amazon Prime. The book gets 5 stars...Amazon gets 3 stars for selling a dirty copy and labeling it new.

This book was recommended to me by another speech-language pathologist. It is perfect to assist children with adjectives and describing words. Unfortunately, the book I really wanted didn't seem to be in print. I selected another version. I like it, but it has the potential to be quickly ruined by small children with rough hands.

Wonderful book to add to my well loved collection for granddaughters

I like this book so much I gave it and it's companion book Fuzzy Yellow Ducklings to a friend at her baby shower!

My son loved this. It was packaged nicley and it came on time. I would buy this again for a present.

Awesome interactive book. My daughter loved it from little. Would definitely recommend and all the other books by Matthew as well.

Love this author and this book is another fantastic one of his. It goes beyond the basic shapes that kids start off with. Great illustrations and fun way to learn.

great counting book for elementary age

The book is much more flimsy than the other Matthew Van Fleet books we have so I have to keep them out of reach from my toddler.

Love the illustrations - the animals have lots of different expressions and there is lots to talk about.

We have bought a couple of books by Matthew van Fleet, and they're all really good. This one explores different shapes and patterns. Very good. It's less robust than "Heads" so be careful around grabby fingers, but that's no criticism - I highly recommend this.

nice little book, hope grandson enjoys it for xmas

Not as good as the other books by same author. Its a cute book but not what we expected after purchasing Heads & Alphabet. I wouldn't bother.
