Does Not Hold Up Long
I like this bracelet but it does not hold up. This is the 2nd one I have purchased and it unravels and comes apart after about 6 months.

Love Vital ID!
I purchased one of these about 7 years ago for my daughter. It was exactly what we needed, in case she and I ever got separated at an amusement park, mall, etc. One day, at a huge playground, it happened. Thanks to her VitalID, she and I were reunited in minutes.Fast forward 7 years later and I've purchased one for my toddler son. We'll be headed to an amusement park this weekend. There's no reason he'll have a chance to get lost, but just in case, $11.95 has helped ease my mind.Product wise - it's as great as it's always been! The nylon is a bit stiff, but I'm pretty sure my 7 year old one was, too. It softens up wonderfully. The ID hides in the velcro inside the band, so no advertising their name and phone number for everyone to see. I love that they've removed the Medical Alert logo and replaced it with the VitalID logo. I always felt a little weird having my daughter wear a "medical alert band" when she had no allergies or medical issues. (Felt like that was unfair or rude towards those who truly needed it for medical alert). The only negative - they used to put the rough half of the velcro facing out, so it would never make contact and bother their skin. It seems now they've changed that. The rough side faces in, and I can foresee it bothering my son when his wrist gets bigger... maybe they did that to be able to sell the larger size in the future?Regardless - I'm a happy long time customer! We now own three of them, and I've recommended them for years.BTW - mine came with two ID cards (I saw others mention theirs only came with one). They've changed the cards considerably from the originals, but they seem like they'll do just fine.

Great idea for a trip but scratchy
I bought this for my 8 yo son for our upcoming trip to Disney World. I plan to keep them in our camper after for the summer when we're at campgrounds. For an ID bracelet it's the best design - it keeps the child's ID safe yet easily accessible for those who may need it. My only complaint echoes that of other reviewers - the velcro is backwards and puts the scratchy part facing the child's skin. My son mentioned it as soon as I put it on him, and he's not particularly bothered by things like that.

Great for Crowded Places
We went to Disneyland and this held up amazingly! My 2 yo was fascinated by all the fountains and the splash area; even after multiple times getting soaked the ink didn’t run on the insert with the info. The bracelet stayed on and we never had to readjust it. The bracelet also has “vital ID” on the outside that is visable from every angle so had there been a need for it, someone would have been able to tell what the bracelet was for. Because my little one is to young to have a meet up area, this help take a lot of anxiety out of being in such a crowded place.

... am always nervous when we go to crowed places like the zoo or a festival
I have a wiggly toddler and I am always nervous when we go to crowed places like the zoo or a festival. He's not able to articulate his name or other important information, so I had been concerned about what would happen if we were separated. I ordered this wristband and completed the information to tuck inside. The fabric is very durable and the velcro is strong. We went to the zoo and used it for the first time--and it was great. He kept it on and didn't play with it, seemed comfortable enough. And I felt much better too!

Nice
Great product! Easy to use. Bought for my boys to wear while in Florida for an extra piece of security. My youngest mentioned it was uncomfortable when I first put it on but seemed to adjust to wearing it throughout the week. They did swim with them on their wrists and the insert card held up nicely. You could still read contact info.

Works for my kiddo.
We are new to food allergies and needed something for my one year old. This fits perfect on her ankle and she doesn't mess with it. We haven't had it long and it is a little ragged but still works. The paper is water proof! We have accidentally put her in the tub with it on and it has never messed up the writing. It dies get dirty easy and I have had to wash it a few times.

Good product just not for this little dude
I purchased the ID wristband for my grandson who started Kindergarten this year. He doesn't yet know his phone number so I felt he should have that information available. Unfortunately, he only wore it for a few days. He said it bugged him. It was a good thought and there wasn't anything wrong with the product just a kid thing.
