My wife's auto watch is running everyday now
I have this winder about a month already. It works like a champ. My wife's noticed her auto watch was stopped every time she was trying to wear it. With this auto winder, this never happened again. The setup is very simple. The operation is very quiet. What else do you ask for? I am planning to buy an auto watch myself to put it in the emtpy holder too. I am not sure how long this winder will last, but it seems like a good deal according to the price.

Fit for purpose - great value
Reasonably-priced (under 70-bucks including mailing) for double watch winder. Double-winder (with only one motor) has 4 settings on its IC-chip. The chip does work -- knows the differences between the settings, (e.g. rotate 10 minutes/rest 90 minutes or rotate 1 hour/rest 3 hours.)I am using Setting-C: rotate 30 min, rest 3 hours, and it does the job for my Concord (thin dress-watch, about 8mm thickness) and Omega (dive-watch thickness) which were firmly held in place during rotations. [The manufacturer provided a square attachment to the watch holder. This is necessary to keep a thin watch taut and snugly attached to the watch-holder.]The winder's housing is similar to that used on computer speakers, not as pleasing to the eye as my previous winder (in cherry and had three layers of lacquer). My previous winder ($150 more expensive!!) also had 2 motors the extra cost still resulted in both motors burning out in less than 16 months!!!This double-watch winder is fit-for-purpose. [It appears it can provide service for 2-plus years. I will post an update if it does not and the motor burns out before Dec 2009.]

An excellent watch winder!
I was quite skeptical with the product at first. However after reading the reviews, I gave the product a try. I have it for a month now and it's still running great. It is a good buy for the price. I keep the winder by the bedside, and both wife and I do not hear any noise from the motor. I'll provide an update if the motor is dead. Cross my fingers.I gave it a 3 because the face cover of top winder is a bit loose, but the winder is working fine - just a little care to remove the watch, otherwise it is 4 star. I didn't bother with the hassle to ship back for replacement. The unit comes with 1 year warranty.

A durable and reliable Trooper
This winder performed extremely quite (couldn't hear it at all)and kept my Invicta automatics well wound, until myinfant granddaughter grabbed onto the SBN3 Limited Edition and held on while the winder was in operation. Thinkingthat the unit was destroyed, I immediately ordered a replacement. Several days later I turned on this unit just tomake sure it was gone before I threw it out, and surprisingly it still operated the top watch perfectly, and theattacked bottom slot with a little occasional shaking but still kept the little pro-diver well wound. Now I have twostill quite winders.

Love this winder
Love this winder. Got it set on the ten minutes every hour and a half interval.Seems to run better IN the winder then my own damn wrist.Has a somewhat decorative look that fits nicely on our kitchen counter. And people get a kick out of it when both watches spin.So the crazy thing is.....I hardly wear EITHER of my automatics now.Go figger.

Does what it says on the tin
The unit works as intended. I've only had it for a few weeks, so I can't comment on reliability, but it successfully keeps my two automatic watches wound. While it's quiet, it's not silent, so I keep it in my closet. If it was totally silent, I'd give it a 5, but based on the mixed reviews for other watch winders, it's difficult to beat for the <$40 price tag.Update - almost 2 years later, its still going. It even winds my Seiko Kinetic. Success with this winder may depend upon a bit of experimentation with the switch settings for some watches.
