For my Garmin Drivesmart 61, this is a solution to the "The attached cable cannot currently charge your device." message I got when using the device in my car with a standard USB cable connected to a cigarette lighter adapter.Plus there are 2 additional ports so I can plug my dash cam and mobile phone cables into this device as well.Since my GPS is only 1 foot away from my cigarette lighter, I wish is that it was available with a shorter (3 ft) cable instead of 6½ feet.

This car adapter is terrific. It is small profile for tight spaces like my Kia Rondo socket. The two charging ports work as advertised. Best of all the pig tail cable for the gps works perfectly. I bought a second cable that was advertised as a charging cable, and it would not charge. I suspect it is only a computer data transfer cable.--- This product works flawlessly.

Works great with my Garmin gps. The cord that originally came with my gps never did work right. This one is even better, because it has two usb charge ports on it, along with powering the gps. I'm very happy with my purchase!
