I've used this mic plugged into both a mobile recorder (TASCAM DR-03) and into my android phone. It's got quite a bit of natural gain, which was a surprise, but it means that I have to boost it less in post, and the noise floor is quite nice.As a wired lavaliere, it adds a bit of bass to the voice due to proximity effect, especially as compared to an on-camera mic. Fortunately, it helps my voice sound good - and I travel with it everywhere in my camera bag now, as my go-to vlog mic!

It's super easy to use, small, and has a great clip so I can pin the mic on my shirt very easily. It even came with extra cord love the extension cord should I want to make it longer. You can stand about 10 feet from the camera no problem. If you’ll be recording outdoors this kit includes furry wind muff as on photo. Love it!

This mic works really well for motovlog setup. I ran it on my hero 4 silver and works great! Just note for Hero 4 and older you need to also plug in the adapter with the other adapter for it to work.

I am very happy with this microphone. I had one small issue with the stereo mic adapter and the company sent a replacement part very quickly.I’m using this for video paired with a Tascam DR07x. It’s used mostly outdoors and I’ve been extremely happy with the results.
