Shockingly More Effective than PT, chiropractors, yoga, and massage combined.
4 years ago, when I was 49, I had a total hip replacement (left hip) -- before surgery, no cartilage remained in multiple places, bone spurs shaped like indian heads pierced my psoas muscle ever time I stood up. My surgeon could not believe I was able to walk for 10 minutes without passing out from pain, and I nearly ended up hospitalized before the surgery because my hip would lock and I couldn't move.The surgery was a success. But I've been in varying degrees of moderate to severely crippling pain - can't get out of bed pain - ever since. Imagine giving birth without an epidural for every hour of every day of the rest of your life. My PT explained I'm hyper-mobile and my SI joint frequently dysfunctions (as in the left side of my lower back hikes up between 2-4" higher than my right). I tried physical therapy, chiropractors, massage therapy, and yoga. PT and yoga helped, but both were expensive and offered only temporary relief. Chiropractor and deep tissue massage created more pain and were completely ineffective in reducing the pain I had. I could have gotten a script for Norco, but my work demands a clear mind and I wasn't interested in being "disabled" for the rest of my life.I stumbled across the Miracle Ball Method "surfing" Amazon. I initially hesitated, thinking how unlikely it would be that this little kit could do what all the other physician recommended treatments had failed to do. However, when I compared the price of this to the time and money I had spent on "recommended" treatments, the risk of trying this method was non-existent.Elaine Petrone and the Miracle Ball Method saved me. The instruction book is easy to follow. The balls are comfortable. And I've found a good combination of poses for me that not only permit me to realign my SI joint when it dysfunctions, they taught me which muscles are causing my pain and how to relieve it. My yoga instructor properly diagnosed the muscles that had atrophied before and during my recovery from my hip replacement, but none of the experts - MDs, DCs, yogis, and massage therapists -- devised a treatment method that offered me long-term relief for the weakness in the many muscles that had atrophied, which were leading to my pain. My hips were so tight that my body relied on the wrong parts to carry me upright and walk me forward.Following Elaine Petrone's method is fixing me, reducing my pain, strengthening my muscles and returning me to normal. I am grateful everyday Elaine Petrone and her simple, inexpensive, do it at-home method. I'm getting my life back and I love it! I am trying to do my bodywork on the balls for 30 minutes every week day (longer on weekends), but it is so relaxing I could and would love to spend hours on these movements every day. My schedule doesn't permit that. :-(I have never before had a reason to recommend any product as highly as I recommend this. And I am not affiliated in any way with Elaine Petrone or The Miracle Ball Method.

Truly a Miracle. I Now Have a New Life
I had sciatic pain for about 15 years before using The Miracle Ball Method. Been through every type of treatment short of surgery even though several doctors recommended it. Out of desperation about 5 years ago I went through my files to find articles about this method and Elaine Petrone that I'd saved since 1997! I bought the kit on Amazon which came with a DVD and the balls and not the book. I half-heartedly tried the DVD but didn't have the patience to do exercises that required stillness and relaxing. Out of total desperation 2 summers ago I took a series of 6 classes with Elaine in Stamford Ct. and my life totally changed. With the classes (you can get much of the benefit of her classes with her YouTube videos) and the book which I bought, and doing the exercises daily, I have virtually no pain. I've gone from having trouble walking distances to jumping on a trampoline. You've got to try this. Maybe it's not for everyone, but it is for millions of sufferers of all kinds of pain. Do it. And do it now. Don’t suffer from years of hesitation like I did.

These work ANYWHERE on your body!
I have told a lot of people about these after I discovered mine at a thrift store still in the package a couple of years ago. I couldn't believe it the first few times I tried it - I thought, "No! it has to be a coincidence!" I'd get sciatica or my fibromyalgia would be flaring up horribly and I'd think - "hey - why not try the miracle balls?" and it would help or clear the pain up completely. I even helped a headache by placing my head on one of the balls while lying down. They are truly well-named "Miracle Ball" - so now I've given them as gifts to people who are dealing with chronic back issues, sciatica, etc. So yeah, go ahead and give them a try - I've saved people hundreds of dollars by not having to go to a chiropractor or acupuncturist! Not to mention pain meds.

Simply amazing
I bought this little kit with next to no expectations. My mother had a set years ago and I remembered the balls were good for cracking my back and that was about it. Now I've been reading through the book and trying out the technique and it has been simply amazing. I'm 27, but a few injuries and large breasts have combined into an uncomfortable (and frequently painful) neck, back, shoulders, and pelvic area.Day 1: I got them in the mail around lunch time, did a few simple exercises before work, felt really good but work got stressful and I found my right shoulder got painfully tense (not unusual when I'm getting a migraine). I think part of the problem was rebound tension from stress after finally relaxing some muscles that have been tight for years. After work I used the balls again before I went to bed, concentrating on my right shoulder and my neck.Day 2: I used the balls shortly after getting up for the day, took the dog for a walk and realized the the chronically rolled forward/hunch to my right shoulder was gone and my usual tension mid shoulder was less noticeable. The arm rolls after elbow on the ball felt pretty tight but good. I used the balls one more time before work, then for a long session after I got home that night. My neck and low back also felt better. I'm not creaking and cracking as much when I move.Day 3: woke up feeling amazing. No pain or tightness to my neck or back. I feel like I've slept really well. My shoulders are still in a good alignment without any conscious effort on my part, yesterday I could roll it back into the old alignment for comparison but today I can't even figure out how it was rolled. Slight tightness to my low back as I got up but otherwise I felt awesome. Used the balls right away, walked the dog, did some cleaning, and now I'm sitting typing this and feeling really good all over. The chronic tension to my trapezius muscles is loosened quite a bit, usually my upper shoulders feel very hard with next to no give and that's not the case today. I don't feel like low back and pelvic areas are pinching or sliding out as I walk. I'm not wishing for a massage or thinking I need to see a chiropractor soon.I've only used these for 3 days and it's been astounding what they have done for me. If all they fixed was my shoulder, I'd be in flying but they do so much more. I've combined some of the moves such as elbow on the ball with neck on the ball or a ball mid back to relax my problem trapezius muscles. You don't even need to take much time out of your day to complete a few simple moves. I turn on a podcast and lie on the floor and move the balls around, 20-30 minutes later, my podcast is done and I feel so much better. None of the moves have been painful, you mostly just lie there and breathe.

Re-align your body for fast and lasting pain relief
Possibly you're looking at this item and wondering if it's just a money making fad or whether it actually does any good. If you're searching amazon for something to help with pain you've probably come across various things all promising the solution. I've done a fair bit of that myself over the past year, having been told by my doctor that I'd have to live permanently with chronic pain and rely on painkillers everyday. This little kit caught my eye and I ordered it more out of curiosity than anything, plus it had lots of positive reviews which made it sound worth a try.Buying this was the best thing I've done in a while, on a par with stopping smoking in terms of its life-changing impact. It's definitely not a fad, and it really does work. Elaine Petrone knows what she's doing and has developed a carefully thought out, effective way to relieve pain. It's so simple. You just place the balls underneath your body and relax, let your weight sink to the ground supported by the balls and your body re-aligns itself. I've had indescribably horrendous back pain, which prescription strength codeine couldn't even take the edge off, and after using these balls two days in a row the pain has gone entirely. I've had no painkillers for two days, I can bend my back normally again, sit in a chair without wincing, and the most unthinkable thing of all, I actually managed to get on my yoga mat this afternoon and do a few crunches and planks. It's been a long time since I could do that. It's a simple but beautiful idea, no effort involved, no straining or stretching, all you do is lie on the balls and let your body heal itself with correct alignment.The booklet explains the technique, and how to do each exercise correctly. You can work through it all in order if you like, but I did the first one to get the basic technique then skipped ahead to the targeted exercises for what was up with me. There's something for everything here, back pain, hip pain, neck and shoulder pain. There's even something for stress and depression and, bless her heart, Petrone has several ways of using the balls to get rid of headaches and migraines which I tried when I had the headache from Hades at the weekend, and they work faster and better than popping pills. It just seems to melt away pain. Once you get the hang of each exercise, which is pretty quickly, you can do them from memory so you can do it whilst listening to the radio or telly or whatever you like, it isn't intrusive into your day like some types of exercise. You'll need a pump to keep the balls inflated as lying on them does flatten them quickly, just a basic ball pump is all you need. I'd strongly recommend this if you're looking for something to help with pain.

Suspiciously effective
Bought these on my mother's insistence. Surprised to find that they do exactly what they are meant to. Very useful if you sit all day hunched over a desk or, alternatively, if you spend all summer hiking around with all your belongings in one rucksack and can slowly feel your shoulders starting to give up the ghost. I don't know why they work but they do.

Really helps
Having fibromyalgia and using this method has helped. It does massage the muscles while practicing relaxation. My neck and shoulders were constantly tense. I find it undoes the muscle tension and knots a treat.

IT IS A MIRACLE
Well - I would say it is a miracle -for sure. I'm a long-term, chronic pain sufferer. You name it - I've got/had it. Genuine, bone-aching, grinding, miserable pain day in day out. Until the discovery of this method.I cannot over-emphasise how much of a change it's made. Within 2 sessions I was pretty much pain-free. I do use them lots (frequently throughout the day - a quick lie on them is enough to re-adjust something hurting). The feeling is coming back into my arms. I can hold things properly again. My neck moves again.I have, in the past, paid a 'faith healer' almost £900 to help it was so bad. I've seen acupuncturists, chiropractors, osteopaths and doctors. I've taken tablets, exercised, meditated and taken drugs. This is the single most effective wonderful discovery ever. I have cancelled my booked surgery and am hopeful I can continue in my current career as a musician. Thank you Elaine Petrone!

Miracles for modern life
My brother originally purchased one of these for my mother and I decided to get for myself. Over the years I have studied/qualified in many different systems of healing and I have to say what a wonderful system Elaine has created with The Miracle Ball Method. I live a very busy and active life, which includes Wing Chun at senior level, Yoga and an extreme sport, so this wonderful system is a great blessing and so easily accessible. Currently I am working through a knee and shoulder injury and I am really impressed with how quickly I have seen results working with this system. Plus the system is so effect in managing the stresses and strains of very day life, the best £11.99 I have ever spent!!!
