Loved the premise of this book. I am a new manager and have been using the info presented. A little praise goes a long way and I sure wish previous bosses had read this book! It's a keeper 😉

The Best book on managing people
I have managed people for over 50 years. This book came out over 30 years ago and was an immediate best seller. It was and remains the best book on how to manage people. I now manage a Church and a DayCare. My DayCare Director asked me if I had any suggestions on how to manage people. I gave her this book. She read it; thanked me for it; and has had no problems with her employees. All of her employees are older than her, but they love her. If you want to know how to successfully manage people this is the book.

One of the most finest book I've ever read
Just finished reading the book, The One Minute Manager by Kenneth Blanchard. It is the most fantastic book 👏 I have ever read and the style of writing is absolutely brilliant.It is not a very lengthy book, just around 100 pages and you can finish it over a weekend. The book is especially for those who want to become managers.Here are some key takeaways about the book:✔️ This book displays a conversation between a person aspiring to become a manager and someone who is already a manager also called a "One Minute Manager" and his three team members.✔️ It conveys few but very strong messages about what good management looks like and that too in the form of a short and brief book and it tells "Three important secrets" that could do wonders for both individual and organizational growth.✔️ This book tells the importance of setting goals with clear expectations and target dates along with your team member. The author has given a name called "One Minute Goals"✔️Next, it talks about recognizing and praising the achievement or success of team members on a timely basis also called One Minute Praisings. This encourages them to keep up the good work.
