This item comes with 2 2-minute sand timers and 2 suction-cup toothbrush holders (can be placed on the bathroom window in front of the sink). My kids have been using the timers to brush their teeth for longer than they were previously (2 minutes is a long time, but it is more enjoyable/doable when you see the sand going down). The timers are plastic, so they shouldn't shatter if dropped on the bathroom floor during a sibling fight.

I have similar issues as others with clumping sand. They were delivered on a cold day and the sand was extremely clumpy. Once warmed up it improved but it still costs the inside of the timer. I think there’s two factors at play, one is moisture and the other, once dry, is static.

I was very excited for my little one to use this timer. Unfortunately only 10 days later, the sand is clumped up, which means it is no longer able to be used, as the sand does not flow through. I assumed it was because a drop of water must have snuck it's way in, but for an item meant to be in the bathroom, I would not have foreseen this being an issue. The toothbrush holders are fine but I really bought this for the timers and those unfortunately failed.

The suction cup toothbrush holders are great! They are sturdy and hold the toothbrush well- no sagging. My kids (4 and 7) love the hour glass for brushing their teeth. They also like that they each have their own color. The only con is that the sand sticks to the side of the hour glass and it makes it difficult for the last 20 seconds to see if the sand is still moving. You can raise it to eye level and look with the light but I have to be there with my kids while they brush their teeth. Overall fun and worthwhile product.

Do not waste your money on this.

Very cheap. Worked for the first month then moisture somehow gets inside and the sand is clumpy and ruined

I use this for my grandsons when they are here. Gets them to brush their teeth longer. It is accurate and the boys think it is like a game.

One of them is during 3 or 4 minutes. The other one stop working properly after 3 weeks.
