A Scrupulous, Scurrilous, and Villainous Company
So, I actually purchased a model slightly higher than this, it probably isn't available for the reason below:This is the second product I've owned from Cyberpower and I don't even know where to begin with how little respect I have left for them. The first laptop I owned was rife with annoying issues (like how the RGB keyboard only barely functioned properly after hunting down for hours a specific program that must be run) but I weathered the nuisances and gave them another chance. This was against my better judgement as their prices were not that competitive and looking back now, whatever price difference there was, it was absolutely not worth it.The "support" on the website is laughable, all the telltale signs of a company that could not care less are there. But I thought, surely, their actual support via email or phone would be better; nope.First they send me a laptop where the processor, of all things, is running at near TjMax and heating terribly. After jumping through several hoops... instead of fixing the issue, they send a replacement... with the exact same issue but this time the OS was installed on the HDD instead of the SSD, so I had to reinstall and download/install everything all over again...But the worst was, after half the keys on my laptop keyboard stopped responding, I contacted tech support (twice), and not only did they tell me they could not help, they could not even provide me any information on how to get a replacement part to do it myself or how to get in touch with the manufacturer. The phone # they provided, no one answered. Unbelievable...Completely useless and incompetent. I have never hated a company more and will certainly warn as many as I can... and here we are.So if you want to purchase from a company who doesn't even build PCs, they just slap their name on a Tongfang laptop, where they can't even quality test to make sure the processor is not always running at its very heat limit and where they design keyboards that short immediately after any contact with moisture and leave you with no way to repair or replace it, then by all means...
