Great Flavor
Most steel cut oats are about the same - but this one has a bit more character. The color is not as "washed out" as most, and there is a more varied and stronger flavor.

It’s a good way to get whole grains
I have been using this product for a couple of months, and I love it. It’s worth the money. It tastes good and great nutrition for someone trying to eat good.

Yummy!
Since Costco stopped selling Bob's Red Mill Organic steel cut oats, I've been looking for a substitute. This fits the bill. I got the 10 pound bag so won't run out any time soon. Some reviews complain about how long it takes to cook but here's a tip. One evening, put some oats in a pan, pour boiling water them , then put a lit on it, wrap it in a towel, and let it sit for an hour or so until it cools down. Put it in the fridge. Next morning, spoon out as much as you want, add milk/water whatever, and microwave for a minute or two. I eat it throughout the week this way. Quick, easy, and delicious.

GREAT Overnight oats!!!!
Love this stuff. Saw it on CBS Sunday morning. I use is I often don't have time after practice which I coach or when we go to meets to get a healthy breakfast. The oats with chia seeds, fresh or frozen fruit, almond milk, greek yogurt, and some cinnamon make great overnight oats and are quick easy, and even more importantly delicious!! So much so many of my athletes see what I have, and asked about and now they have it for breakfast as well.

Ok, not great
The taste of the product is fine, but I found the consistency of it somewhat powdery. I use a rice cooker on the porridge setting and it tends to boil over. It is not cut the same as other brands. Also, the package I received said made in Italy, packaged in USA, while the online description claims it is an organic product of USA, so buyer beware. For the price, there are many other less expensive options for organic steel cut oatmeal.

Our favorite breakfast!
We really love these steel cut oats! Cook them in our Instapot to make 3 or 4 days worth- add a little vanilla and a cup of plant milk to the cooking liquid and they are super creamy.
