HALOSolar Outdoor LED Light – Motion Sensor – Flood & Security Twin Head Light – 180 Degree Coverage - Bronze

This light works way better than we expected. We have it on the peak of our roof above our porch steps. About 12 feet high. Anyone comes near those steps the light goes on and shines bright and wide. I would definitely buy this again!

Sometimes this light works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes comes on with motion. Many times does not even come on with motion. Have tried all settings and had several people look at it. Not a reliable product.

Cant adjust the sensitivity on this. It picks up every car that passes on the street which is about 70 ft

Just purchased it, the light turns on when on test but on 1 minute or 3 does not turn on. I read somewhere that after several days of charging the product does work. Will update review once it does.

This light works pretty well in the Summer, when the days are long. But not so well in Fall, Winter, Spring. The solar panel doesn’t keep the battery charged enough to operate reliably every night. Our solar panel is mounted in full sun, no obstructions, no shade. We installed it in Summer and it seemed to work. But when we returned from a Fall trip the red light was blinking (in the daytime, though the instructions only mention this behavior at night). We replaced the battery with a fully-charged new one; no improvement.You get up to 100 minutes of operation from a full charge, which takes 4 days. So setting it to stay on for 3 minutes is impractical. Setting it to the minimum helps, but not enough.Expect this to give your house extra security if you go away for a few weeks in the Winter? Don’t count on it. A few gray Winter days? Forget about it. A rainy spell? Maybe the rain will keep the burglars away. This fixture won’t.

First product wouldn't even charge the battery; got a replacement and it seemed to work (except on three minute setting) for about a month. Now it doesn't turn on unless I manually reset it every night. We have several animals in our back yard and after about 5 or 6 times turning on it just stops working - if I manually reset it again it works.Don't waste your time with this product.

I've had one of these light for two years now and it works flawlessly. The only down fall to the light is you need direct sunlight for it to work. Mine is in sun all day. I tried moving it to a spot that gets sun for about 3 hours out of the day, and after about a week it quit working because it wasn't able to recharge the light. If the battery is charged up you shouldn't have any problem with the motion working. I set mine off about 15 feet from it.
