Very happy!
I was a little concerned ordering from this company after reading the reviews. But the tree arrived at my daughter's 2 days earlier than expected and was starting to bud in the box. She got it planted in a large container and it is THRIVING! This was her 30th birthday present so I couldn't be happier. Would definitely order from this company again.

Save your money
Tree showed up with crappy packing ( old scraps of paper) , and the tree was in bad shape. Small and very skinny tree with brown edges on the leaves. I would NOT recommend spending your money on this !

when this tree grows up this will be a beautiful tree. I saw this tree when it was in mid life. It was so beautiful, I had to have one. Wish me luck.

Epic fail! Don’t buy! Save your money!
Very disappointed!!! The poor little tree came broken! This is not what was described.. and yes I too found one of these at a local nursery for 60$. And the tree was 8 feet tall!!! Ridiculous!!!I would like a refund, and if you want I’ll send your dead tree back to you.Save your money!!!Go somewhere local where you can actually see the tree.

Came as a stick.. but growing nicely
So far so good...So this came in a fairly small box with just enough soil around the base to keep the root ball covered. The plant was about 36" tall, about half was a root stock and the top half was the graft of the Autumn fire maple. It was basically just one long stick with no leaves, but this was what I figured I'd get from a plant shipped in February when it's still dormant.I planted it out front in a slightly raised planter bed to ensure good drainage, adding a fairly stout support stick, as it will not self support without slumping over.Within a few days a second branch started to grow and the small buds on the main branch started to open into leaves.Within about two weeks I had a fairly good growth of leaves going. We've had several strong wind and rain storms (north Texas) and this little guy seems to be doing just fine. (it is up fairly close to the house, so maybe it's slightly protected from some of the winds. It would have been nice if there was more than one main branch, and I wish the grafted on area grew more strait up than it does from the lower portion of the stock (there is a bit of a bend where the graft was made, I will slowly snug this area up against the stick to straiten it over time..), but I guess that's what you get for a specialty plant shipped though the mail. There is now about 4 branches taking off on this little guy and so it seems to be a reasonably fast grower and definitely healthy.
