I was excited to try this dress onb but was disappointed once i did. The dress was way too long reached below my knees and im 5'9.5". I order a large because im 42 bust 41 hips and 36 waist, but the dress was bit to big making it sit weird uptop. The lace top is nice but the solid fabic seem wasnt sown in alignment with dress and the flap turned up making it look tacky. Im 36dd and theres no way to where this dress with a bra which definitely needed for me, even my strapless bra showed. Very disappointed. Might try returning for different size.

I was really excited to wear this for a party this weekend but the craftmanship is just awful. There is no sweetheart neckline, its not even a straight line and the mesh is pinched in the cotton/spandex in places along the bust. The fabrics are both very stretchy but the cut of the skirt is tight in the hips and is not forgiving if you have a belly

I REALLY like this dress. IDK that I would go so far as to say I LOVE it, just because there are a few minor improvements I would have made myself, like a hook and eyelet closure to assist when zipping up, but the seller got me the dress in HOURS, and I didn't select same day, the material is stretchy, so it works well, and it's BRIGHT like I was hoping. I was looking for a RED dress, but it seemed like everyone had wine, or maroon, or burgundy. This is RED. like, candy apple red. I bought a petticoat to wear under it and it's TOO FREAKING CUTE! Pictures once I get the new bra to wear with it. Be advised - IT'S SUPER LOW. I will likely wear a corset, come to think of it...

Wore this dress to a function last night and not only did I receive many compliments but this dress was very comfortable to wear and if I do say so--very flattering. I wore a petticoat underneath because I was looking for a retro look but the dress hangs nicely without the added fullness of a petticoat. The dress looks more expensive than the purchase price and appears to be well made. It was well packaged and arrived quickly. I followed the size guidelines per the manufacturer and the fit was precise.

I loved this dress. I am short - 5'3 and 150 lbs. I ordered the medium. It was a little big in top because of being short-waisted but I don't consider that a manufacturer issue. If someone taller wore it, it would have been perfect. But it worked great. The material was thick and had a touch of a stretch to it.

This is such a pretty dress! I love it. The background under the lace is a rose color, which I didn't realize from the photo of the dress. But I like the rose very much. Just a very romantic dress. Reminiscent of the older times!

My best friend ordered two dresses from GownTown and both were lovely and fit her well and looked great so I didn't bother reading reviews until after the fact. I would say I agree with the negative comments. The bust line is nearly straight across and barely rises higher than the arm pit. Almost half of my bra shows and it's loose in the shoulders for me. I'm not very busty so I'm used to things being a tad loose but it was loose even with my super padded push up bra. I'll be returning this one but I will at least try another dress before giving up on this company.

When I placed my order, I selected the ivory and black sleeveless dress. I received the black dress with short sleeves instead. I would give the dress that I received a 5 out of 5. I got the wrong dress, however, it's still a beautiful dress, nice quality and fits nicely. The hem of the dress falls by my knees when I'm standing and below them when I'm sitting. ( I'm 5'8 and I am usually a U.S. size 6-8 in dresses.) I ordered a size medium and it was a little snug across the bust. If you are busty you might want to go a size up. :-) I would order from the seller again.
