My son loved his bathing suit so much that we ordered 2 more. He has a 31 waist and normally wears a medium. We ordered a 32 waist with this company and it is an xl. Fits great and good quality.

You should order a size larger than your typical size due to the sizes being on the smaller end of the spectrum..That said these are great trunks. Stylish, comfortable, light weight, and quick drying, I was impressed with the quality and time-to-delivery. When my trunks arrived I believed them to be a size too small so I contacted the company about returning them, they refunded my cc and told me to keep them (what a great company).

Fits as expected if you read the size chart. My step-dad isn't a big man by any means and I got him the 34. He has had some ugly 80s swim trunks for 30 years that I call his Zack Morris shorts because they look like the opening to Saved By the Bell. Well after 30 years they got so thin that you could see his butt through them and no one wants to see that so I got him these goofy ones for Fathers' Day and he loves them. Also anyone behind him after he exits the pool likes them too. No more see through britches.
