Miles To Go Paperback – December 31, 2009

This book is the tale of Miley's real life, and autobiography of how she grew up and got the role of Hannah Montana, etc. Lots of real life, behind-the-scenes stuff. It's full of little jokes & insights into her real life personality, not the on-camera actor that most people know. What I love most about this book though and why it really stands out, is that it is not written in chapters. It is written in little 1-2 page memoirs or sections so its easy to pick up and read for a minute or 2 and then fold the page at the next section and then if you want to read another section you can, or you can just come back to it later and read another minute or 2 and finish another section. As an author myself it was interesting to see this style of writing in action. The book is a little over 250 pages but it has big font and big leading between lines. Took me about 3 or 4 days to finish. Also lots of great motivational elements.

Let me just say, when I first heard Miley had a book out. I laughed, called it a joke. And ignored it completely. It wasn't until very recently that I picked it up, read and realized. I was completely wrong.Miles To Go. Has got to be one of the best books I have ever read. and No.. I am not joking. The simple fact of the matter is that, Miley is not who we all thought she was. She's got real struggles. She's experienced real hardships. And she's got a great message for not only girls, but women everywhere.That message, comes in a few parts.Part 1. Love yourself.Part 2. Love your family.Part 3. Love your life.Because like Miley mentions, you never know when it will all end.I hope everyone reads this book. And puts the messages straight into their hearts.

There was a name written on the last page, but I don’t mind. The condition was great otherwise

Since I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, I checked it out of the library to read before then letting my nine-year old daughter read it. I ended up being pretty impressed with the book overall, and she absolutely LOVED the book - enough that I bought it as a Christmas gift for her. The book is an honest and fun look at Miley's life so far. Surprisingly, Miley dealt with struggles such as bullying and low self esteem, and I would imagine it's reassuring for her fans to realize even Miley doesn't have a perfect, easy life. And she is a good example of turning to her family and her faith when life gets hard. The book is very upbeat and positive.

Once I started reading the book, I couldn't put it down - always surprised to learn something new about Miley's life that I hadn't known before. As busy as she is I'm amazed that she found the time to write the book, but sure glad she did. To not give away any secrets in the book I can just sum up the book, in my opinion, (in no particular order) as being: honest, insightful, funny, inspirational, heart-felt, sad in some spots and a better understanding of just how driven Miley is and how much more she hopes to accomplish, all while still seeming so grounded and "normal" ...if that's possible. Hope to read several more Miley mile markers in the future, and I'd sure like to shake her hand. Her left hand.

It took a little while (2 1/2) weeks for this book to come, but it was worth it because my little sister was sooo pleased when she opened it on christmas morning. it was in perfect conidtion. Miley Cyrus isn't really my thing, but for a little girl or any fan of hers it's a good read. I flipped through before I wrapped it and she writes in an easy and casual way, and there are a many interesting pictures included. good gift for any miley cyrus fan I would say!

Ok, i forgot how much of a Miley stan i was back then, her book is so relatable the bullying the finding a new hobby and liking it for like five seconds. Didn’t that going back and forth to film a show and trying to keep a normal childhood was so hard. Mad respect for child stars all over.

My daughter had to read a biographical book as her required reading for summer. Normally she doesnt enjoy reading but I thought since this is someone she likes it would be easy. Sure enough she loved it and gave me no problem to read it. I would recommend it for your child. The book is well written and gives them an insight into the stars life leading up to her stardom. Children love to hear how their idols got where they are today and this book not only explains that but also covers her likes and dislikes making them feel like they are really getting to know Miley.

This book was like MINT, shipped very quickly, and we love it. Thank you for a beautiful volume.

Das Buch hat viele schöne Bilder mehr weiß ich noch nicht weil ich es selbst noch nicht gelesen hab - es ist ein Geschenk :)Es ist auch in gutem Zustand usw, jedoch hat das Buch von unten einen langen Eddingstrich?Ansonsten war alles gut

This is really pleasant read that gives you some insight into an incredible person, despite being young of age she shows some real wisdom. From teenage angst about being bullied, boys and zits to living up to her name "Destiny Hope" this book is something which will appeal to readers of all ages. Well worth purchasing 5 out of 5
