The media could not be loaded. I tested with the new Safe and Sound II 5G and it blocked about 90% of the surrounding RF. The numbers went from 10,000 - 100,000 uW/m2 to under 10 uW/m2.Very impressive. I highly recommend using this when using any type of induction cooking. I was a little skeptical when I read the claims that a simple apron such as this can shield harmful radiation. I also wasn't quite sure how to test if this is in fact true or not and as such spent some time researching these claims. I first noticed that the apron does in fact not block cell phone signals. When you wrap your cell phone in the apron it still gets a signal and still rings. At first I found that disappointing until I found that the apron is supposed to block electromagnetic radiation, not the cell phone signal. To test if the apron actually blocks EMF you would need a device such as a Trifield 100XE EMF Meter. I read several studies that measured the difference of a cellphone's EMF with and without the apron using such a device, and the difference was huge. Without the apron significant levels of EMF were detected, with the apron hardly any at all. That is impressive.To be fair I did not actually do these tests myself and as such would urge people to research this themselves before relying on this to protect your unborn baby. The best way to protect your unborn baby is to keep electronic devices away from them. If that is not possible, keeping electronics at a safe distance combined with the use of an apron such as this *may* offer some protection.Overall research *appears* to support that the use of an apron such as this may in fact offer some protection to your unborn child. Every parent will have to decide for themselves if there is sufficient data to put their own mind at ease. I was lucky enough to have received this apron for free in exchange for my review. I really struggled rating this, as I am just not sure if in fact it is everything it claims to be. In my own mind though the more precautions we use, the better it is. I decided to rate it 4 stars based on softness, size and quality. I took off one star because I am just not sure how effective it is in shielding harmful rays.*As the safety of your unborn baby is at stake I recommend doing your own research and testing before relying on a product such as this to keep your unborn baby safe from harmful radiation.
