Very sturdy after assembly (which I could only do with help from my wife). Need to get some stickers to label the weights but everything else okay.

My son's use it and works for them. However instructions were awful and difficult to follow. Parts were missing etc so took more than 2 weeks to put together. However that said the customer service was excellent and then sent the bits that were missing. So in summary works and once built is good value for someone who wasn't sure it was going to be used, however expect a few hiccups when putting it together.

We brought this after a lot of hmming and ahhhing. Read some of the reviews that weren't that complimentary, and others that were ok. Firstly, hence only 4 stars, this is not a £3k multi gym with all the bells, whistles and flutes. It's a good honest gym that will give what you want for doing basics and some. It's relatively easy to put together and took us about 5 hours from start to finish. Yes, there is a NEED FOR 2 PEOPLE to do this. Everything is there but always check as you're going along. The instructions aren't that good at showing you what is what at the start meaning that you have to look at the pictures as you go along. There were two bolts on the step area that were not fit for purpose so we had to use two others. We then went to homebase to get some more and that just about covered everything that was needed. You will need a tool kit including socket set with a ratchet. You will also need to be patient. Take a photo of the gym from the amazon site on your phone and refer to the picture on the front of the instructions too. Some of the pictures on the instructions are probably from an old design but just be patient and look at it again and you will see what to do. Overall, a good sturdy gym that hopefully you will enjoy that is relatively easy to put up.

I was looking for a workout machine for home use that is also easy to store away when not in use.After looking at rowing machines, home trainers and others, I stumbled over the Total Gym offer on Amazon. I had heard of the total gym before, but was not aware that is is actually sold outside the US.Well, I bought it and turns out the Total Gym X-Large is actually a very good work out machine. I'm using it now for almost two months pretty much every other day for about 20 min and feel the impact of the workout. I've build up strength and feel more energized than before.And the work out is fun, since there are lots of exercises and it never (well, at least so far) gets boring.When I ordered the Total Gym X-Large I was a bit concerned that even with the X-Large in the name it might not be big and sturdy enough for me (standing at 6'4), but it works great.The whole device looks and feels sturdy and secure even when I put the angle up to the highest setting.The bench is about 44 inches long and 13 inches wide and provides enough space for me, and the cables are also long enough to perform the exercises properly.The package includes a booklet with a lot of exercises shown and a DVD that show some of the exercises in more detail.It's also pretty fast to set up the Total Gym and again fast to fold it to a compact size for stowing it away.All in all, a really good machine that I definitely would buy again.

The product comes with hundreds of small parts and an instruction manual that has a fair amount of inaccurate information. Unfortunately we also had a few parts missing on delivery. We contacting the company and they been helpful and fairly prompt replacing the parts we needed so the multi gym is now complete. We obviously didn’t buy the most expensive item available but now everything is finished we are happy with the end product.

Excellent multi gym, delivery was quick, (might be worth noting mine came with two differing couriers) which caused some confusion when only one box arrived, a quick phone call put my mind at ease and the rest duly followed a couple of hours later.Assembly wasnt too bad, taken me and my girlfriend about 3 and a half hours, abit of common sense and it seemed to go together problem free.Having been using the multi gyms various bits and pieces now for over a week it all seems to be made of steong robust materials and does exactly as it should. The only thing i would say is the cable for the butterfly deck is a little loose, meaning the first 3 inch of the exercise is virtually resistance free.. but i cant see this being a huge problem.For the money paid for this im more than happy with it, the customer support was good when i had to ring about delivery.. so no complaints and id definitely recommend.

Slow start as some parts were missing but with exceptional customer service I'm fully up and running, great value for money and manufactured with quality. Fit4home, thank you and cant wait for the cross trainer to arrive.

Le total gym est un appareil super complet, mais j'aurais au moins souhaité un mode d'emploi en français, heureusement j'ai trouvé un site avec tous les exercices possibles. Vu le prix de l'appareil une traduction aurait été la bienvenue! La livraison impeccable, sur rendez vous avec le transporteur. Délai de livraison respecté par Amazon.
