I think this boat is awesome for the price paid. Easy to setup and use. Have had it in the pond 3 times now, worked as expected each time.The only downside are the instructions, obviously translated from Chinese to English, hard to follow and vague.

The boat works pretty nice on the water. It is a little hard to adjust the controls if your tracking is off but I just ended up leaving it so it ran a little crooked when it was supposed to go straight but it wasn't a big deal and over all it ran good and handled well. They say in the description that (the indicator light below the charging port is on when charging, and the indicator is off when fully charged) That is incorrect and the light will never go off. I sent the first boat back because I thought it wasn't working right and the replacement did the same thing. The company was good about sending out a replacement very quickly. The battery did seem to charge ok even know the light would never go off after a full 24 hours but then if you don't use it for a couple weeks and leave it on the shelf the batteries go dead and will need recharging before you can use it again. That was the most frustrating part for us was that each time we wanted to use the boat the batteries were next to dead and would only last about 5 to 10 seconds before the alert would start to beep meaning the batteries needed charging. That was disappointing for the grandkids. Now after trying to charge the batteries for about 2 hours each they will not work any better than the first time and rand dead in just a few seconds. They have only been used 2 possibly 3 times over a month and a half. Now I have a boat that no longer works due to the batteries not working and no paperwork to show how to request replacement batteries even though they claim 24 month replacement warranty. At this point I would say that is a fraud of a statement unless someone can tell me how to get hold of them for replacement parts.

bought for our grandsons. It was very difficult the first time to remove the top and inner cover; got easier the more times we took it off and on. Love how well it performs! the batteries are a big disappointment though. We have charged both batteries (the charger shows red when it needs charging, but the green light that is supposed to show when charged, never comes on). The battery life is about 10 to 15 minutes, which is extremely disappointing and a pain in the butt. Don't know if we just got bad batteries (but both bad??). the boat itself is great...goes fast, has quick response, and tons of fun. EDITING: After my review the seller contacted me and wanted to make it right, I only asked for better batteries, but they sent me a whole new unit, boat and all. Excellent customer service!! I am a CPA and it is tax time, so I haven't had time to test the new boat and see if the batteries do better, but I am very pleased with the seller's true concern and willingness to make it right.

Wow. Had a rc boat when I was a kid (20+ years ago) so I didnt expect much for these Chinese knock-offs. BUT OMG, this thing will FLY. It is absolutly amazing how fast it is and how it handles. Great quality, water tight seals and fun. Batteries are 2 wrapped cr123s and at full blast they last over 10 minutes. Putting around you get about 15. It comes with a second battery, but for ultimate fun Im ordering 2 more. Highly recommended.

The boat would not connect/pair with the remote so it had to be returned. The remote would turn on, but it could not connect/pair with the boat and would show no signal.I tried everything to get the boat to pair/connect:- I charged and tested the batteries- I checked all connections many times- I placed the boat in the water- Turned the remote on/offI am currently waiting for the replacement boat to arrive I will see if the replacement boat works.

This boat is FAST. Really fast. The remote range is excellent- you will lose sight of the boat before it loses signal. I have gone at least 300' which is as far as I care to go. Maneuverability is great. Note, my 7-year-old son broke one of the vertical fins off one boat, so I removed the other. Now the boat turns even sharper, sometimes 'skidding' in the water. I removed it from the other boat, too, because the fast turns are fun. Remote has throttle and steering trim, and the rudder has 9 positions to adjust it on the boat. Have not cracked a prop yet. It's great it comes with 2 batteries, because at full throttle, you'll get about 10-12 minutes of life. Going a bit slower can get you 15 minutes. I wish it had a slightly bigger battery option, but it works. Motor has water cooling which seems to scoop up water when driving fast, and it shoots out water on the side. Reverse does not work too well, it tends to pull the boat under. But that's to be expected. I have only had a few drops of water inside the hulls of either of them, so the gaskets seem to work. And the self-righting feature does work well, you have to get a rhythm and it will flip itself over within 5 seconds.I had priced one similar at a hobby shop for over $120. These are a no-brainer. Order two or three at this price so everyone can have fun. There is simply no reason to NOT buy this boat! I've owned it about 1 year and have used it about 30 times.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It was fun while it lasted.. the steering servo lasted about 2 minutes and it stopped working.. it has a constant buzz in it and when you try to turn it, it'll go a hair one way and just make a buzzing sound going the other.. (I literally received this today)EDIT: I need to add, the customer service from this company IS SECOND TO NONE, it is refreshing to see that people still care about their customers..I returned this item and was promptly contacted by the seller showing concern, not to question the problem but to solve the problem..They have sent out a replacement..Thank you guys!EDIT #2Got the second boat and it works great!.. my son loves it
