Normally I don't leave reviews, but this is a nice mouse.
The Satechi M1 Wireless Bluetooth works right out of the box with both Mac and Windows, it only requires pairing. The best feature is its looong battery life and short changing time. Personally I think it has an elegant, compact design with a pleasant feel to the its wheel and responsiveness to motion, but that is a matter of opinion, and, if you have very large hands, you might find it rather on the small side. Cheap for a Mac mouse, expensive for a Windows mouse. Very satisfied initially with my purchase, it feels well made and sturdy.

Apple”esque” design and quality at a great price.
Used with an M4 MacBook Air, this mouse functions really well right out of the box. Paired quickly and is extremely responsive to your input and cursor movement is accurate. I find myself choosing it over my trackpad more and more. Blue matches my Mac and looks made for it.

I cannot say enough good things about this mouse.
I bought this mouse 2 years ago because I work in IT and I travel a lot. I am absolutely flabberghasted by how good this mouse has been. The battery lasts such a long time, but its not heavy. The amount of force required to click the buttons is just right, and the scroll wheel feels great to use. Its small enough to be a great travel mouse, but not too small to use. Its USB-c charged so I can use my android phone charger or my macbook charger to charge it, but it goes months without needing a charge. I have gotten it a bit wet from soda and I panicked thinking it was ruined, but it works like the day I bought it. It's beautiful too. I've let a lot of people borrow it because it pairs sooo quickly on Windows or Mac. Everyone who has used it loved it too. A few of my users even bought their own. I'd buy more but I don't need them because I take this one everywhere.

Update to previous review: A nice mouse over all, but it feels awkward in my hand
Below is the review I left on Dec. 31, 2025, and I must update it. Sad to say, but as of March the mouse is going in the trashcan. It has become jumpy and lurchy, as if it cannot maintain a continuous Bluetooth connection, and I feel I'm constantly at war with it. Furthermore, I never got comfortable with the way it feels, and my hand aches after using it for a spell. Now I have to shop for a replacement. I can no longer recommend! This Satechi M1 wireless mouse seems like a good value, and it connected seamlessly to my MacBook Air. It seems to work fine but, like some others who reviewed it, I find the size and shape a bit awkward. It is not as high as the Logitech mice I've used before, and the shape lacks curvature that conforms to my palm, cramping my hand a bit. There is also a seam near the front edge, right where my index finger wants to rest, in contrast with the smooth-surfaced Logitech mice. I'll probably get used to the way it feels, but it detracts a bit from my initial positive feelings about this mouse.

A simple mouse with a rechargeable battery at a reasonable price
A relatively small mouse with a rechargeable battery at a reasonable price. Can work for several months with one charge, but I imagine that that depends on how you use it. It is also good-looking, well priced, and seems to be well made. I purchased 3 Satechi mice in the past, one of them a few months ago. The other two worked well for at least 3 years. My experience with the Satechi keyboard or Mac mini hub was not that positive: those devices lasted less that an year and give me problems from the beginning. My experience with the mouse has been much better.

It'll do the job at a great price... but you might want something more.
I've had this mouse for 6 months, pairing it with both my MacBook Air 2025 & iPad Mini 4. I didn't want to overspend on a mouse and this was well-reviewed as a budget mouse. All-in-all, it's an acceptable product...but in this price range, the Satechi On-the-Go mouse looks like the better performer. PROS: 1. It's got a beautiful, sleek look. The pictures don't quite do it justice. It' flat out gorgeous. 2. It's wireless; no need to use half of my USB-C ports (MacBook Air gives me a grand total of TWO) for a mouse (except when charging). 3. Its front USB-C charging port lets me use it while it's being charged. 4. It charges quickly and the charge lasts a good long time. 5. It's ambidextrous (yes, I'm a lefty, so this is a big thing). This should be a no-brainer but apparently it slips past the thinking of a lot of hardware designers that LEFT-HANDERS USE TECH TOO. The struggle is real. 6. The big one: PRICE. I had no idea how costly Mac-compatible mouses/mice/meeses were because I've always been a Windows or Linux guy. This is a solid budget option. BUT--it does come with some... CONS: 1. Its low profile looks good but isn't all that comfortable. And... 2. The scroll wheel is...problematic. I have smaller hands and thought a smallish mouse would be no problem. With a higher profile, maybe it wouldn't be. As it is, I often find myself moving from the mouse to the laptop's touchpad for easier scrolling. The fit of the scroll wheel is just not comfortable for me. Of course, your mileage may vary. 3. No MacOS driver is available. Of course, it's a basic mouse, so why would it need a driver? Still, just a little more customization would have been nice. 4. Switching between devices has been a problem. This model, unlike the On-the-Go model (and others in this price range), doesn't have device-indicator buttons. If you intend to switch between devices, you'll need to manually disconnect from one device and connect to the other. I had issues trying to reconnect back to the MacBook from the iPad Mini & in the end simply deleted the mouse from the Mini. Now it's a one-device device. The Satechi On-the-Go wasn't available on Amazon when I bought the M1. If it had been, I'd have gone with that. Right now I'm undecided as to whether I'll plug along with the M1 or go for the On-the-Go (or perhaps something else). I'm a cheap guy and the M1 is adequate. And adequate is very under-rated.

Excellent Substitute for Apple Wireless Mouse
Excellent mouse for use, and I like the "wheel" on top. It's easier for me than my Apple wireless mouse to use for scrolling. I like both but the wheel is more intuitive for me. It's also MUCH cheaper than a comparable Apple wireless mouse. It was immediately compatible with my Apple desktop mac. The build quality seems comparable but time will tell. It replaced a wired Apple mouse.

Awesome Feel On The Wheel. Little Bit 2 Small
Could have better resolution sometimes. Buttons too far up on the ridge. Too small in size if you got big hands. Wheel works very good. Smart charger connection, so you can still use it. You can go far fully charged i.e.

Satechi Mouse
Fairly inexpensive with aluminum body, small form factor (works great with smaller hands), and connects to my Macbook Pro Max with no hassles. It has a more comfortable feel in use than my old Apple mouse. Highly satisfied with this purchase.

ottimo prodotto

A good alternative to the Apple Magic Mouse
Although not identical to original Apple Magic Mouse, the Satechi Aluminium M1 Mouse is a good alternative. It replaces the touch surface navigation with a very sturdy scroll-wheel and two buttons. The built and form factor are very good. Although costlier than other-non-Apple mouse it is better alternative.
